When we first entered, there was a lady with long hair and medium size body in orange pink shirt asked us if we had a reservation. But when I called them in the morning, a man answered the phone and told me that, they don't take reservations for 2 people, Will have seats available for us, they will not that busy on weekdays.
The hostess in pink orange shirt said, " We don't expect that busy today. I can take you in to have a drink. But You have to wait for at least an hour for your food order. If you don't mind, I can take you two in and have a drink first. If not, you can come back next time."
After My friend told her, she doesn’t mind. We can sit down first. If you follow the lady seriously, you will immediately get blackfaced. She clearly wants to scare us away.
They didn’t want to serve us, but I saw they had at least five female waiters. The place was 70% full, not packed at that moment, and there was only one male bartender. After we placed our order, with the bartender, all the food showed up after 15 minutes, we don't need to wait for an hour. We tried their very thin, chewy and 1/3 fat prime rib with super salty sauce, raw carrots, half-cooked vegetables, and super crispy bread pudding for $29.
I wasn’t full at all, so I ordered their sour, not spicy and not crispy Buffalo wings $10, tasteless chili lime wings $10, herb-rich, not crispy and tasteless squid rings $15, and tasteless pork ribs $15.
Two 18-ounce glasses of floral fragrance fat tug beer $8 each, A glass of extremely bad taste Russell beer, we were served by a male bartender, who wear glasses with polite, funny and attentive service attitude.
The remaining waitresses appeared to be wandering around and engaging in conversation with one another, rather than attending to customers. One waitress repeatedly adjusted her bra in front of us, every time she passed our table at approximately 10-minute intervals. I observed her handling the menu without washing her hands.
This is our first time and last time. Good service from the bartender, but food quality...
Read moreI been coming to this restaurant since they open up,I love the service, their Foods and all of the people works there. Last two weeks ago September 22nd I brought some of my friends with me for dinner and I notice service wasn't the same anymore and it took a bit longer for the server to come back and see if we're ready to order. We order eventually but two of my friends orders took longer than anticipated so in the other words wasn't happy about it. During the time of paying bills, two of my friends didn't put a tips because they weren't happy about the service overall. Then the server told us they must put a tips because she said it's mandatory or else they will take money out of their pockets to contribute into everyone's tips. I was like surprised and very disappointed to the server because of how her tone of her voice and the way she's asking for money. First thing,I work at several restaurants for years and used to owned a restaurant myself and we never force our guests to give tips. I believe that if everyone is happy and enjoyed their visits and then it's up to them to give a tips. After this incident went home after two hours I felt really sick dizzy, feeling nausea, vomiting and headache. I couldn't go to work so waited a day after and still feeling the same thing so I went to the emergency and results was food poisoning. I never had this experience before coming to this restaurant and I will never come back here for...
Read moreSuddenly craving prime rib for lunch, my husband and I went to Fogg and Sud Restaurant. Our previous experience was subpar, with poor service and food. Today, we gave them a second chance. With only four tables of customers, it was quiet, unlike our previous visit. The service was better than last time, and the food improved as well. Overall, I'd give it a 90. Today, we tried... sirloin steak with prawns, which was reasonably priced at $27 on Sundays. We'll definitely return, as it's comparable to Cactus Club's steak and Fritz. The prime rib was flavorful, and the mashed potatoes were rich with milk and butter. The vegetables were cooked, unlike last time, and the bread pudding remained crispy. My husband loved it. The spicy mango wings had a unique flavor and were deliciously saucy. We also had one Bellini and two glasses of Fat Tug IPA beer. When paying the bill, the meal would have scored 100, but the waitress's parting comment, "Ok.. see you next Sunday. I'll be here, hahahaha" sounded sarcastic. If not for that, it would have been a perfect score. My husband asked if Sundays between 2 pm and 4 pm are usually quiet, as he'd like to return then, expecting better food and service without the noise. Our previous Sunday visit was disappointing, with subpar food, service, and excessive noise. I paid $95...
