In-Room Dining — Restaurant in Richmond

Bought a groupon thinking to try out the high tea experience since it is close to where we live. It is definitely not an ideal location for locals: the traffic getting here is terrible (being an airport), plenty of parking but very expensive.

Coffee was great. Tea and food was alright.

The service was truly a disappointment. Customers are not fools. But when you are giving us mediocre services and still expect generous tips. Sorry no.

The worst part!! The server reminders us MULTIPLE time to tip on the full amount of the bill instead of the discounted amounts. Tips are not a must! If you deserve it, I will pay up!

Overall a pleasant experience.

The staff did their thing and brought over the set menu for high tea but other than that there wasn't much service. Even getting attention for the tea /hot water refills would be hard. On the plus side it is quiet and you can enjoy the peace with your guests.

Food comes almost all at once. My favorite is the scones and jam because the butteryness pairs well with the sweet fragrant jams and cream...basic I know. But the best part!

My recent experience here was very good, friendly staff with good attitude. The atmosphere and surroundings were great for high tea. To me, most importantly was that the tea was hot. They offer a good variety of flavours and it’s well blended so that the flow of flavours was constant. Scones were fresh, sandwiches were delicious and the desserts were fine as well.
