Okay, listeners of the show know I only do 5 star reviews, if you go on the internet to dog on a local business, you're a garbage person anyways. I got my donut at 930 at night, because the Tims in my terminal was picked over, and the call for donuts forced me to venture out into the wilderness like the "people of the deer" (Farley Mowat 1951), but more accurately like a white mid 40s man who is sad that Air Canada delayed him again (you said you wouldn't do this to me Air Canada!! You broke my heart!). Donuts are your classic cook, flip, and dip cake donuts. All the really good ones were gone, but I appreciate it was late at night, and of course only the cakes are left. Could have had more icing, but would have been amazing with a coffee. If I owned this place I would refuse to sell cake donuts at the end if the day if my customers didn't also get a drink. I was in a hurry, could be I missed the marketing, but I wouldn't have coffee this late in the day...who am I? Josh? Get lost. Below 350⁰ bakehouse (Kelowna ftw!!) And Parlor (Panama City FL...also ftw!!!) But better than Tim's and Vegas donuts. This proves my theory that donuts are a breakfast dessert or replacement. ...shoot, Air Canada is holding up their end of the bargain finally, woot woot I'm out of here!

I've never been to any of the other Lee's Donuts locations, so I don't have anything else to compare my experience to. The donuts were fresh and tasty, but I had to buy 6 of them to get a box. I only wanted a couple of them, but to take them in a baggie on the plane would have ended in disaster. So it would be nice if they had smaller boxes for use when just buying 1 or 2 treats. The staff was efficient but not super chipper ... just kinda matter-of-fact getting the job done. There is a bunch of candy and other treats for sale at this location as well. They don't have a place to sit and eat, as it's just a shop front.

After reading some of the other reviews for this Lee's location, I'm not sure I agree with the justication on a lot of the 3-star reviews. At the end of the day - sure - Lee's doesn't make the donuts fresh at this location. But I'd argue they're equally as good (and fresh) as the donuts on the Granville location. Isn't that what should matter? Their donuts are amazing and I struggle very often to find better, more consistent donuts anywhere in Vancouver. I'm very happy to see the location in YVR as it allows me to get a sweet treat before my flight!

Was just at the airport location. Two girls working, both just staring into space. There was four people in line and the guy first in line finally had to ask if he could order. They weren't doing anything just standing avoiding eye contact. The guy in front paid and she didn't ask if she could help, just stood there staring up. The other girl was at least pretending to clean. She eventually looked at me, I told her three doughnuts I wanted. She didn't say a word to me. Unfortunately when I got back to my seat and opened the bag, she gave me the wrong doughnuts. And the ones she gave me, average at best. Don't bother...
