Thaïzone — Restaurant in Rivière-du-Loup

This was the worst excuse for Thai food that I’ve ever had. The pad Thai looked nothing like the photo. It was mostly bean sprouts, hardly any noodles. A few tiny shrimp and bits of tofu. No fresh sprouts or lime or peanuts. When I asked the manager Rafael for a refund, he said well a Big Mac never looks like the photo either. What?! He refused a refund and said well other people like it. That’s really sad if it’s true. I rarely complain about bad food. This is the first time ever that I’ve made a complaint and not had the food taken off of my bill....

Unlike any Thai food I’ve ever eaten before! I sampled both the red curry with chicken and peanut curry dishes and neither met my expectations. The red curry tasted like gelatinous tomato sauce with a hint of spice, while the peanut curry was so sweet it seemed more like peanut cake icing. The only redeeming qualities was that the veggies were fresh and the rice was well cooked, plus the staff were friendly and the restaurant was spotless. I suppose if you were expecting dishes like this you might not be disappointed,...

The worst customer service. Wasted time and money. Even tipped the staff then they served other people before me and then made an order completely disregarding my request. When I confronted them oh sorry everything has gluten not our problem. All they had to do was cook it without sauce. 4 times I asked nicely and in French. No offer for a refund, nothing.
