Noticed this burger spot while driving through Rocky Mountain House on our way out camping. Decided to stop in for a meal on our way back home.

I consider myself a bit of a burger connisseur and this place did not disappoint. I was served an excellent, fresh, juicy, tasty burger with nice crisp toppings, a decent Thousand Island based sauce, and it had some of what looked to be in-house made pickles. It was a truly delicious burger.

My wife and I shared a poutine and the fries were also excellent. Well seasoned, crispy, with a nice thick and substantial gravy. On par with the excellent burgers.

I ordered a Ginger Ale fountain drink and found the mix to be a bit off. I think the syrup was lacking a bit. Oh well, no big deal. I wasn't there for the pop anyways.

Used the restroom and they were very clean and well cared for.

The service we received was excellent as well. The person taking our order was pleasant and he asked us to find a seat so he could bring us our meals tableside. A nice touch!

The music was low and we were able to hear it while not straining to have a conversation between us at the same time. The Smiths and some other early 80's alternative tunes played, which totally sealed the deal for me.

Overall, this was a great place and I look forward to visiting again soon.

Well done,...

We discovered this place after camping. We ask had the House Combo. It was a fantastic value! Burger, fries, drink, ice cream for $15.

I usually take a picture before I eat but darn did it smell good, and I was hungry. Sorry to those that are reading this.

I had the Roger's burger. My wife and daughter the Western, one of my sons had the Mushroom and Swiss, and my other son had the Bacon and Cheese. The Western was loaded and probably the best value. I wouldn't order the Riger's again. It was good but lacked the oomph I wanted from the thousand island dressing. Every family member says the food was fantastic.

They had a good variety of ice cream, so you won't be disappointed.

The service was quick and awesome.

We had to do take out because we have a dog, and they had no patio. That's the only bad thing I can say... other than the fries could have used a little salt. :)

Overall - come here to get a quick bite! Don't go to McDonalds or Wendy's or...

Our group enjoyed their food at the Burger Parlor. Staff was friendly and asked us at our table how we liked it. The burger was very juicy, so much so it was soaking the bun on the bottom of the plate (sopped up with napkin before it drenched the bun). The lettuce was a bit tough on the burger and it could have been seasoned a little bit more. Bacon didn’t add much flavour and it’s your typical processed cheese. Would have been better with more real cheese as the flavour overpowered the meat itself. But the bun was very good. Friends really enjoyed the chicken burger and donair poutine. Yam fries were very good. Fried mushrooms were a pass. We finished it off with ice cream which was great. Prices for the burgers were very fair given the size....

We originally went to the wrong burger place in Rocky Mountain House, thinking the rave reviews from the RVing to Alaska group were for Burger Baron—turns out they were for Burger Parlour, and now we know why. We tried the Roger’s Double Burger with a Thousand Island–style “Rocky sauce,” lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and cheese. The two patties were flavorful and well-sized, the toasted bun held everything together perfectly, and the fresh toppings balanced it all out. Super friendly service and easily one of the better burgers we’ve had in Alberta and definitely worth a stop.
