I had a very disappointing experience at this Subway location. When I walked in, the store was busy, but that’s no excuse for the way customers were treated. The first older lady who took my order seemed uninterested she kept giving looks and didn’t really try to understand what I wanted. She then passed my bread on to another staff member, and that’s when the service went downhill.
The Asian woman who helped me next was extremely intimidating. Instead of politely asking or listening, she rushed me by saying “anything else, anything else” before I could even finish. She added one veggie and immediately pressured me, as if I was doing something wrong for simply ordering my food. On top of that, she kept making unpleasant faces and sighing, making it very clear that she didn’t want me there.
It wasn’t just her most of the staff were openly making faces at customers. The atmosphere felt hostile and unwelcoming.
The food itself was fine, but the customer service was honestly terrible. From their body language and attitude, it was obvious that none of them cared about providing a good experience. It left me feeling very...
Read moreI don’t usually leave reviews, but this has stuck with me for two decades, and I think that says enough. About 20 years ago, I walked into this Subway just wanting a simple sandwich — lettuce and mayo. That’s it. Nothing fancy, nothing complicated. Just a soft roll with two ingredients I liked.
But apparently, that was too much to ask. The woman behind the counter acted like I had personally offended her by ordering something so “weird.” She was incredibly judgmental — rolling her eyes, sighing dramatically, and giving me the most snobby, bratty attitude the entire time. You’d think I asked for a sandwich made of dirt the way she looked at me. It was clear she thought my order was beneath her or a waste of her time, and she made no effort to hide it.
I remember walking out of there feeling embarrassed and genuinely upset over something that should’ve been a harmless, everyday interaction. I didn’t ask for commentary or attitude — I asked for lettuce and mayo. I never went back, and honestly, I think about it every time I pass a Subway.
All I wanted was a sandwich, not to be judged for it. One star forever...
Read moreMe and my husband decided to have a quick bite at Subway in Bay 11 5207 - 48 Street Rocky Mountain House at around 2:30pm today. The woman who took our orders named Maricel is not really friendly. So rude. Not smiling at all. She probably has a bad day. After we got our table I decided to ask the lady named Marissa (as quoted by her co-worker) about what is the soup for the day. And she answered me so rude '' Read the sign''. I told her '' I am sorry I will not going to ask you if there is a sign'' So I just went back to our table and just forget about the soup. At the end she noticed that there is no sign. She did not apologize at all. Such a very poor customer service. Hoping we will be the last one to be treated that way. We do hope the owner will check the attitude of the staffs whose running the business. Me and my husband were so disappointed knowing that most Subways we visited delivers the best customer service. We are from Stony Plain and showed Commercial Properties at Rocky Mountain and it took us late in the afternoon to have a quick lunch at Subway. What a terrible...
