McPhee's Home Bakery — Restaurant in Rothesay

This bakery has quickly become one of my favourite local spots. Everything is baked fresh each day, and you can taste the difference. I picked up a loaf of their brown bread, turkey vegetable meat pie, some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, and a few donuts (sour cream glazed and raspberry jam), and honestly, everything was amazing.

The pumpkin chocolate chip cookies were the standout for me — soft, perfectly spiced, and absolutely addictive.

Their lemon filled powdered donuts are divine. Worth the drive from Fredericton! The lemon is tart, not overly sweet. There’s something about this flavour combo that’s more pleasing than the other fillings, imo. My second favourite is the maple glazed/cream filled donut, rich and delicious. Watch the turkey veggie pies....found an 1 - 2 inch bone in my turkey pie....took it into the bakery and spoke with the owner about my concern. Was told this could happen and really not too concerned. Offered money back, which was not the intent of going in there. Wanted to make them aware.
