I regularly go to my local Pita Pit in Rothesay, NB. Staff there are great! Food is always good. I can’t rate a 5 though. Today at lunchtime there were a number of high school kids there (there is a high school nearby). They were taking up a large part of the seating which would be fine under normal circumstances but they were not technically customers since none of them had a Pita Pit order. Some had their lunch from home. Some had pizza from the Papa John’s next door, some had coffee etc from a nearby Tim Horton’s and there was even some sitting there drinking a Polar Pop from the Irving gas bar. This has happened other times but I was more annoyed today because I almost (as a paying customer) did not get a booth. I am not sure why these kids don’t eat in their own cafeteria nor do I understand why this establishment does not enforce that to sit in their restaurant you must be a customer. I’ll keep going but if this keeps happening I may not. And for sure if I didn’t get a seat for this reason, I would...

I recently visited Pita Pit and had the pleasure of being served by a lovely Punjabi girl named DILPREET, who made it an unforgettable experience. She crafted the best pita I’ve ever had in my life! The way she balanced the flavors and the freshness of each ingredient was incredible.
Her warm smile and attention to detail truly stood out. She took the time to understand exactly how I wanted my pita, making suggestions that turned out to be perfect. It was clear she took pride in her work, and it reflected in the quality of the food.
Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was equally exceptional. As an immigrant, she brings a wonderful cultural warmth to the job, and it shows in her approach to serving customers. I left with a full stomach and a heart full of gratitude.
If you’re ever at Pita Pit, make sure to ask for her—you won’t regret it! Highly recommend. Don't forget the Name DILPREET. Thank You for...
Read moreStaff was nice when I finally got to meet them. Only one door at front was unlocked. I tried the locked door. Other door on side was exit. Chairs were on the tables. No staff out front when I peered into the windows. Two open signs made me throw up my hands. Only lady in a parked car yelling to me made me try the other door of the set. Once inside.... I was concerned about the grill temperature when I had my food cooked. Didn't get sick so I guess it was ok. Also not impressed with the city telling you to turn into the area behind the restaurant off the main road. It's a one way the other way for the takeout lane. Bad experience overall. But finally got my food. I was looking for a pita pit so glad...
