If you want to know more, keep reading, and sorry in advance! This was my first time experiencing barrBURRITO, and it was fantastic!! I wasn't sure what i wanted, so I asked for recommendations and a couple of questions later, we were making progress! A super nice customer kindly took pity on me and made some suggestions, which I really appreciated. She has great taste.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. I tried their new spicy chicken nacho soup, super delicious. The container for the soup was a little smaller than I was expecting for the price, (compared to subway visits), but the flavor is really nice. Definitely recommend you try it, even just one time. It has a lot of flavor, with a creamy base, and just a little kick. You can get chips with that, which i did, but I wasn't big on the 2 together, strangely enough. However, I did really enjoy a little of the soup in my chicken burrito bowl. Beautiful mix of flavors. Oh, did i mention the chips are like lonestar ones? Fresh, crunchy, crispy...I'm so glad I found them without having to go all the way to ottawa! I know, I can make my own, and one day, I just might, but until then, these will just have to do!

I also tried the chips & salsa, guacamole, and queso cheese. The salsa reminded me of Lonestar salsa (i ha e made thisnone at home, and its delicious!), fresh & homemade ljust like mine, but sorry, i dont sell it, I just eat it).

The guacamole was also very good, but I thought it was a little bland, which was good for me as I do enjoy the taste of avocado (hubby liked it too and no, i didnt makenhim say it, promise!).

And to top it off, I also tried their new oreo churro. It was also deliscious. It totally has the flavor of the oreo cookie part. The only drawback is it was a little dry. It may have been better with more icing. I did try it with the chocolate dip, but i didnt find it went with the flavor. I think maybe having it served with an oreo icing dipping sauce may be a better idea. Menu upgrade perhaps?

I was honestly shocked and appalled by my recent order from Bar Burrito in Embrun. I paid over $30 (in total) for a burrito bowl and was left feeling completely ripped off.

I ordered a bowl and paid extra for two additional chicken proteins, but what I received was a ridiculously small portion. The entire bowl weighed less than a pound and contained barely any of the protein I paid a premium for. The bowl was only filled about halfway, and the "extra chicken" was so minimal it was hard to find.

If you are looking for value for your money, you will absolutely not find it here. This was my first and, unfortunately, my last order from this establishment. Based on the criminally small portion sizes and a complete lack of value, I cannot in good faith recommend this place. I'm truly baffled as to how a business can operate like this and think they'll get...

Waited 15 minutes to even be acknowledged and that was because they told me I had to wait for them to finish someone else’s order, there was 5 people working and it was almost as if they didn’t actually know what they were doing. The owner or manager wouldn’t let the associate who served me actually toast my burrito which makes no sense. I was honestly excited when I found out this place was opening but it has left a negative first impression. I’m giving 3 stars because the owner/manager apologized and gave me a free drink and the burrito was good. I’ll give it another shot, hopefully it’ll be a better...
