I go in and ask for a Montreal steak and they start making me the regular steak and cheese. When I ask why, the guy behind the counter he said "I thought you wanted the normal one" long story short there was no sign anywhere saying that they were out of the Montreal steak, they had a sign up saying they had the Montreal steak. That in itself is false advertising. I brought this up with the manager and to try and fix things he offers me a free drink..... Are you for real? Read moreOrdered ahead online. Picked my sandwich up and the bacon was frozen. Contacted the store owner to provide feedback and he argued the bacon had been heated when it in fact had not. Did not offer any resolution and completely went on the defensive. Terrible customer service. Attached is the photo I shared with him showing the frost on the bacon (which he argued was grease from warming up - uhhh okay, sure haha that explains why it was ice cold). I remember reading about the Subway on the mainland that was freezing leftovers that were sitting out all day; violating health code. Hmm.

Read moreI really like the new $4 dollar sandwich product at Subway. It is a simple square bread sandwich that is lightly pressed with meat protein of choice, and then blended with the usual assortment of vegetable options, sauces and seasonings.
The difference is: this is not a messy sandwich. And for under $5 bux (Canadian) it hit the spot. The coffee was good too.
We actually were served by the baker/order-taker/supplier/cashier and all-around sole employee present at the early hour.
Now that guy handled things with aplomb. He should get a raise.
