Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Saanich

I've experienced and heard many concerning issues at this Tim Hortons location. Many employees are rude and inexperienced. The manager in particular had made unnecessary comments, even yelling at children for using the bathroom. I've personally experienced this, being mistaken for a teenager and subjected to aggressive behaviour with violent knocking. This is NO way to treat anyone, let alone kids. The orders are frequently incorrect, staff are sloppy and unhelpful when mistakes are brought to their attention. I wasn't refunded or offered a remake when given the wrong order. Food advertisements in store are often unavailable. The area around the store feels unsafe with homeless individuals using drugs nearby. I've witnessed a grown man defecating on the floor in the store. Overall the service and environment at this store is unacceptable. From the very second i opened the door, my lungs became enthralled with smoke. Cotton candy and gummy bear aroma filled the air as i desperately gasped for my next breath. In this moment, I sensed death was upon me. The youth MUST be stopped. CAN WE PLEASE STOP WITH THE E CIGARETTES???!!??!!?! Back in my day, we had good old fashioned cigarettes and in 2024, we have teenagers vaping in tim hortons. WHAT HAS THIS WORLD COME TO. I am severely disappointed and sad to see the current state of our youth, these are our future lawyers, teachers, dentists, and doctors. I've been to this location before and never been very satisfied but after tonight I will not be going back. No food at night? No signs up saying that, no times given etc etc. I get it's hard to staff places now, but at least put a sign up. One of the staff members was video chatting with someone while making our drinks. And the whole place smelled like sewer. It was disgusting. A customer told them they had a "sewer problem" in one bathroom (how did they not notice?????) but they didn't do anything, not even put an out of order sign on the affected bathroom door. It was absolutely disgusting and honestly I'm glad I wasn't able to get food because I probably wouldn't have been able to eat it for the smell.
