Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Saanich

This location had been a beacon of hope to us after being constantly dissappointed and disrespected by the poor service and old, stale food being served by other locations.

Unfortunately this location too has now fallen from grace and we will no longer be frequent patrons of any DQ.

A month or two ago I was served one piping hot spicy chicken sandwich with a second luke-warm at best one.

unfortunately I didn't check the sandwiches until arriving at my friend's house beside Swan Lake only a few minutes up McKenzie..

It was obvious that one was fresh and the other was likely two or three hours old. DISGUSTING.

I complained a few days later and was treated like a criminal.

Keep in mind this is after spending hundreds of dollars a month on our weekly visits for many months at this point.

The amount of hoops required to jump through, it was beyond insulting and that was almost the end of our visits until management reached out and made it right (with a simple replacement sandwich for crying our loud..)

Fast forward to yesterday when I was served two small 'hot fudge' milkshakes that taste exclusively of vanilla..

IF you drank from the very bottom there was a SLIGHT chocolate flavor because the paltry miniscule pump of fudge used was not mixed properly, and was clearly a smaller 'pump' of fudge than the 'one pump' that the cashier assured me was "how it's made".. (these are not our first ever hot fudge shakes from DQ; thanks for attempting to gas-light me, cashier..)

I'm not certain why your employees believe it is appropriate to speak Tagalog (Filipino) to each other as a method of gossiping about customers in front of them, but it's a rude behavior in a civilized society and entirely inappropriate behavior to display while at work.

Because the employees at this location have assured me that the attached photo is exactly how a $8 SMALL "hot fudge" shake is "supposed to be made" we'll be buying tubs of ice cream from the grocery store instead to make our own CHOCOLATE FLAVORED...

never gonna visit again my friend and I ordered cookie blizzard and we got royal oreo blizzard, we didnt know that because it looks similar inside, but when we tried taste it tastes completely different, and it was so melted, so my friend and we went to the counter we ordered this we got wrong one so the guy staff said no I gave you right one, and then we thought we were wrong because he looks so confident about it , and when we backed to the table me and my friends thinking thats weird because it tastes different so we googled it , found its different one and guy staff took order wrong, and then we went the counter again this time women staff , there so we brought Receipt to her we got wrong blizzard, and she didnt say sorry at all looking doubtful , saying to my friend

you almost finished your blizzard :)

so I told her oh because we went to counter we asked the other guy he said we were wrong thats why my friend finished almost blizzard, and she still doubtful she didnt say sorry at all, she just said here your refund cash take it, no apologizes, none of your staffs didnt didn't apologize, worst experiences I have ever had, never gonna visit again, and PLEASE if you did mistake from you work, APOLOGIZE

we are not poor that icecream for free just because you re busy had long day donest mean you can treat me my day like this, and even you got me new cookie icecream we couldn't finish new one , because we were so upset about...

I ordered mini Reese’s peanut butter cup blizzard on November 18,2024 at 9:58pm. Somehow cashier punch-in different order with cookie dough ykkk. I even asked her when I got my blizzard that is it Reese’s blizzard as it looks like m&m and some other stuff inside. I hate m & m and cookie dough. I even worked at DQ in prairies and I know what’s going in which blizzard. I called in them as soon as I got first spoon and realise it had cookie dough. Phillipina lady is like come back right now which I don’t want it as I already took Colwood exit she is like ok thank u. Then I asked from my side can I get it on my next visit and she is like keep the receipt. Seriously. Prices are rocket high now. So, my $7 is going in garbage now. I am giving u order number #395, giving u what happen and still expecting me to keep receipt for next visit? Simply print new copy of receipt, take customer name and number and put it in ur complaint book and give it free to that customer on their next visit. Where is island health?
