We went to ZIBO! Saint-Bruno for dinner a few days ago and were very impressed. My wife Danielle goes there often for lunch with her sisters — it’s their go-to girls’ day out spot, thanks not only to the food but also to the location inside Promenades Saint-Bruno, the largest upscale shopping mall on the South Shore.
For drinks, Danielle enjoyed a refreshing white sangria, while I had an excellent glass of David Moreno Crianza Rioja. The wine list is surprisingly well curated, featuring selections from major regions around the world and a decent choice of wines by the glass (white, rosé, sparkling, and red).
Food allergies and intolerances are taken very seriously here, with a dedicated gluten-free menu. My wife is lactose intolerant, while I’m gluten-free and also have a pistachio allergy. The staff and kitchen handled this with professionalism and care.
For appetizers, Danielle had the shrimp pogos — crispy tempura shrimp on a stick — while I opted for the Caesar salad (sans croutons), topped with a perfectly cooked strip of crunchy bacon. Both were excellent.
For mains, Danielle had the General Tao–style chicken with pineapple and mango relish, rice, and broccoli. I ordered the Mediterranean seabass with sauce vierge, served with fresh tomatoes, fennel, green olives, roasted pistachios, cauliflower purée, and vegetables. I hadn’t noticed the pistachios in the menu description, but the kitchen prepared a pistachio-free version for me within minutes and without fuss. The fish was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented.
No dessert this time, though I did finish with a good espresso.
The décor is modern and well thought out, with different sections that help keep noise levels down. The open kitchen at the back looks both efficient and spotlessly clean.
All in all, a great dining experience — thoughtful service, excellent food, and a stylish setting. Definitely worth a visit whether you’re out shopping or planning a...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at ZIBO, and I have to say, this is one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how spotless everything was—the floors, tables, and even the open kitchen area looked immaculate. What really stood out was the restroom—often an overlooked detail in many restaurants—but at ZIBO, it was pristine and fresh-smelling, which speaks volumes about their commitment to cleanliness.
Beyond the hygiene, the food was fantastic. Every dish we ordered was fresh, well-prepared, and packed with flavor. The menu offers a great variety, catering to different tastes without overwhelming you with choices. The portions were just right.
Pricing was fair and reasonable for the quality of food and service we received. I never felt like I was overpaying, and given the experience, it was absolutely worth it.
The service was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and professional. Our server checked in at the right moments without being intrusive.
Overall, ZIBO exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a great placd, excellent food, and fair pricing, this is the place to go. Highly...

The 5 à 7 doesn’t exist like the one in Brossard DIX30. Waiters have no clue what you’re talking about when you bring it up, yet the receipt shows 5 à 7 under the listed drinks that you’re charged…
My partner had the Santa Fe burger, and we had to have the waitress check it over for guacamole as it was supposed to feature it in the burger. There was no guacamole at all!! They brought it back to kitchen and returned saying it was in there…just hard to see it…It’s green it should be be obvious, there was clearly none! Don’t put it on the menu as a feature if you can barely make it out. Caramelized onions was the same issue, non existent or just barely to say there are. Patty was greatly overdone and dry as well. They don’t know how to make a burger that’s clear.
The pasta dish I had was cold and was pooling water at the bottom of the bowl.
I’m not going back completely...
