A&W Canada — Restaurant in Saint John

Got drive thru for the family for Friday supper and A&W is really overpriced compared to other fast food options but they are close to work and home so it made sense to go there for a quick supper before heading out for the evening. My real complaint is when I ordered the whistle dog (who doesn't like a whistle dog?) and asked for no relish, that was fine. I asked if they could put ketchup on it and she was like no. I asked why the couldn't put it on the hot dog. She said we don't do that. Not the first time I have been told no at this same restaurant. She did not seem too friendly when I got to the window, not even a hello or greeting other than tell me my total and shove the debit machine through the window before I could even get my wallet out. She disappeared and I never saw her again while someone else was yelling at another worker and then handed me my food. This does sound petty but if you can put relish on it, why not ketchup? Just a simple request and will know better next time for supper to spend my money elsewhere across or...

This is literally the worst A&W I have EVER been in. We ordered 2 mozza burgers combos and went to find our seat. There were about 20 tables in the restaurant, almost all dirty. The restaurant was totally empty when we were there. The area with drinks ketchup etc sat full of dirty dishes and grime the entire time we were there. Again, NOBODY in the restaurant and 4 employees. Food comes out. The burgers are so cold the cheese is actually sitting ice cold, like fridge cold,on top of the cold patties. The French fries were steaming hot and the onions rings also, torally ice cold. So basically they made everything while waiting for a new load of fries...and it sat and sat. But there wasn't even a hint of warm left in anything but the french fries. Only time ever I have not enjoyed the experience AT ALL. there is way too much competition now for food to do such a bad job. Not gonna lie,...

I called to find out about the new lime beyond burger all Plant Based. Staff were really great, helpful, professional & friendly. They had a buy 1 receive 1 free on the 'burgers' & I ordered a few other items, too. However, I meant to hold the mayo....lol but I took care of it. Well, all the items were excellent, Wow. I make all my own meals & only eat out or take out about once a year so this was a real treat! Thank you so much, the Plant Based lime burger was especially delicious. Wow! Along with incredible onion Rings & root beer....thank you so very much!! I would've given you 5 stars but because A&W isn't 100% Plant Based yet, perhaps in the near future...better for Animals, the Planet & Our Health. Please, continue to provide even more delicious Plant Based items. Thank you, again. Have a Super Veganly...
