Subway — Restaurant in Saint John

I came in for a veggie sub and, as I always do, asked for pickles. The employee put about 6–7 slices on, which barely seemed like a regular amount. When I asked for a bit more, I was told there would be an extra charge because they “follow a formula.”

I’ve ordered veggie subs at many different Subway locations and never once have I been told I’d be charged extra for asking for little more pickles. It’s a basic topping — not meat, not cheese — and on a $9+ sandwich that’s literally just vegetables, that kind of response feels ridiculous.

To top it off, all the veggies were skimpy — not just the pickles. If you’re going to charge full price for a veggie-only sub, the least you can do is not be stingy with the vegetables.

I understand policies, but this just felt cheap and inflexible. If this is how this location operates, I’ll take my business elsewhere. Other Subways manage to be reasonable —...

I recently visited the Subway drive-thru in Bayside, Saint John, and while I appreciate the idea of a drive-thru, it just doesn't seem to work for this location. I decided to order ahead through the app, thinking it would streamline my experience, but it ended up being quite the opposite.

When I arrived, the app indicated my order was ready, but I stood at the pickup window for 10 minutes without being acknowledged. I watched as other meals were being made, while my food sat and got cold. To make matters worse, I noticed staff dropping bread on the floor and then putting it straight back in the display—definitely not the hygiene standard I expect.

I also decided to try the new potato rings, but they were stale, hard, and cold. I should have just opted for the regular chips instead. Overall, this experience was disappointing, and I don't think I'll be returning to this...

WOW !!!! Went into this subway tonight ordered 2 subs. For 1 all the vegetables were everywhere what a mess green pepper in the lettuce pickles in with the onions steak mixed with the chicken. I was ordering there was someone ordering in drive through, not sure what kinda sub they ordered but they got it toasted and as it was toasting the guy making the sub asked what kind of veggies. He wasn't putting the veggies directly on the sub but actually right on the counter chopping board.
