Vivaldi's — Restaurant in Saint John

It's New Years Eve and I wanted to take my Wife out for a nice Dinner, I chose Vivaldi's because my Wife of 55 years enjoyed eating there with her friends. I made a reservation for 5:30 hoping to eat early and to perhaps take in a Movie. After reading the on-line menu and deciding what I would like to have I chose the Fettuccine Alfredo, on-line price for the all inclusive meal $23.95 and my wife chose the Grilled Salmon, all inclusive price $23.95 (all inclusive simply means Salad 0r soup, dinner meal, and desert) . However when we arrived we found the meals we chose on line, because it was New Years Eve, went up by $15.00 and $20.00 per meal. The meal: my wife enjoyed the salmon dinner, however my meal was not so good, the chicken was over cooked and dry and the fettuccine was undercooked making for an unpleasant meal, the desert we chose was the caramel torte cake hoping to salvage the meal however ti was dry and unpleasant. The night, eating at that restaurant was so bad that we decided to come home and skip the movie. Shame on the owners of Vivaldi's for gouging the public just because it was a special evening (New Yers Eve) I for one will never frequent that restaurant again, plus, the meal before taxes was supposed to be $55.00 after taxes turned out to be $96.57 after taxes. Very disappointed in the Owners. I DO NOT RECOMMEND...

Made a reservation at what I though was nice place. Got told on the phone that we would have a hour and a half to eat and get out as they had other reservations that night... I made the reservation and arrived with my group to have the hostess say the same thing, well we ignore it as we're paying customer had a great time, food was ok didn't offer much variety for those who don't eat red meat. At the end of the night we left and a party member told me I had something in my white shirt, checked it out when I got home to notice that the dye from the very ages seats had actually transferred onto my shirt staining it, this also happened to another party members clothing as well. Upon talking to the manager who said he would issue me a gift certificate for a meal their, I stated I could pick it up be he insisted on mailing it out.. waited and waited weeks never got it. Approached the manager who insisted he knew nothing about it... Honestly just due to the lack of respect toward customers I will not be back . I felt like they wanted my money more...

Their menu states "all day" items, but wait staff told me nothing other than their special lunch menu is normally available. That menu was all inclusive and expensive with food you may not want. Bad idea, too much food for me to begin with. The wait staff made an exception and allowed me to order off the main menu, buy it caused emotional embarrassment at my table.

I used Google Maps to look up the menu. When you click on the view menu button for Vivaldi's you will see for yourself that the menu clearly states your entire menu starting with "All Day - Italian Appetizers" listing 9 items, including the one I ordered.

Perhaps this is wrong for you, but I did show this menu to your wait staff and asked if it was Vivaldi's and was told it was.
