Unfortunately this will have to be my official worst review I’ve written This place has a old artistic approach wich sort of works out,but they don’t wash the walls years after year and they haven’t painted the place since forever,so it doesn’t feeel super clean, chandelier is gorgeous but full of dust and webs, dead bees and dried up Flies on it. However the food is fine and the coffee is good. The lighting is dull and outdated Every time I’ve walked in I’ve always felt the need to sit by the windows, why? Because it gets dirtier and darker as you keep going away from the daylight or the front part of the coffee shop it sort of feels like a library with lights turned off it’s dark, the oldish decors and the unbalanced tables, all different shapes and all different chairs kinda place . Old floor so you tend to always wanna fix or adjust the table so that your coffee or glass water will not Tumble and fall unto another client,so when you get up you have to look 360 or your elbow might hit your neighbours head !
Kind of like a messed up school cafeteria and you can see or hear every body else’s conversation even if they are not talking loud Now that we have the visual Let’s continue with the attitude Especially directed to Julie the manager herself A table CONTROL freak! Now Here goes our experience So we walked in and we sat by the window(I’m 5 ‘8 ‘’,and I weight 200lbs )
So I sort of moved the table we selected so that my legs and my big boots don’t kick or have to sit super uncomfortable, right?! Apparently WRONG VERY Wrong So here IAM about to order and Julie ( the manager) Comes to us with her forks and knifes wrapped around the napping, she says hello and both her hands lay the forks down, she grabs the table that we have just moved (1/2 foot away, just so my back and legs can get that extra room ) And she furiously places back to the original position Hits my knee and my cell drops to the ground. She didn’t ask why we moved it or did that? She didn’t ask if she can help She didn’t ask if we needed another table Nop she just moves the table and says would you like coffee to start with ? Now what exactly just happened (was my face ) I didn’t move I didn’t say a word I just sat there and wondered What the hell just happened ?
Long story short We had our coffee and we left We decided we were not going to eat there We didn’t trust this Julie with us being there under her care Right ? Would you? INSTEAD I decided to call And Let the manager know So phone rings and It’s Julie herself the manager
(We live literally across the street) I’m determined to reach to the owner (I will find them, trust me)
Julie at caffe passion is in it over her head Inflated EGO red flag 🚩 We got a Karen undercover Playing the Pro Manager at caffe Passion Julie where is the passion ???? You prefer to control every positioned table Will your tables also pay your bosses Rent ? Will the tables pay your Waitresses ? You can’t control how or where people need their legs to move or get up and to feel super comfortable This is not the first time it happened, neighbours in our building here have mentioned it aswell They went in They sat by the tight space by the window They were served by a Julie and place was empty on that time And she Moved their table (rudely) They didn’t stay either
Not cool Lady Julie at caffe Passion in st lambert ,not cool:/ We trying contacting the boss,we still searching. But instead we got Julie on the phone and she was absolutely frustrated on the phone aswell, cul de sac She has zero respect for The owners clients. Julie ton nez 👃 est trop dans les airs, place is not yours ,it’s not right to do this to the owners aswell as to us the customers. You do know you can always change jobs if your burned out I wouldn’t trust you with my plate honey Leave the public jobs to the people who love...
Read moreTerrible Customer Service Experience at Café Passion
My boyfriend and I visited Café Passion yesterday at 7:30 PM, and unfortunately, our experience left us deeply disappointed. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that the customer service was far from satisfactory.
Upon our arrival, a young lady behind the counter appeared visibly irritated while handling a transaction for another customer. What shocked us was her complete disregard for our presence. She didn't offer a greeting, a smile, or any form of acknowledgment. It was as if we were invisible.
After the previous customer left, we approached the counter, hoping for a better interaction. To our dismay, she continued to ignore us and promptly left to refill other customers' water glasses. This was the tipping point of our frustration.
This was, without a doubt, one of the worst encounters I've ever had in the customer service industry. Her blatant lack of courtesy and professionalism was appalling. It left us feeling not only unwelcome but also offended by her behavior.
We had been looking forward to enjoying a pleasant evening at Café Passion, but the appalling customer service completely overshadowed any positive aspects of our visit. I have no intention of returning to this establishment, and I sincerely hope that the management addresses the issue of their staff's rudeness to ensure that no other customers have to endure such a...
Read moreWalked in for a dessert. Very disappointed!!!! The waitress "raved" about how delicious the crepes were!!
I need to say the crepes were rubbery, tough, and tasteless! The creme anglais tasted like a bland lifeless tapioca! And why would you add cantaloup As a fruit when they are not in season or even ripe!!! Wake up! I don’t want to come across as mean but I am refraining my comments.
Long story short, the worst crepes I have ever Eaten in my life. I have eaten crepes in many "French cafes" and made them myself, many times.
40$ for two crepes and two coffees, cafe passions should be ashamed. Cafe passions should take the crepes off the menu! There is no taste to their cuisine and I wouldn’t spend another dollar at this place...
