Jane's Place — Restaurant in Salmon Arm

Been to Salmon Arm numerous times. Never tried Jane's before. Usually go to the Barley Station (which is superb for food and service!) but they are closed on Mondays which is the day I was in town this time. Jane's offers a pleasant atmosphere in the Piccadilly Mall. Can't say the same for the waitress who had my table; however the hostess was very friendly. I had 1/2 a Farmer's Eggs Benny that came with potatoes. Egg cooked as requested. Felt even as a 1/2 portion, could have been more generous for the price ($10.75). The potatoes were delicious! Crispy and lightly seasoned. My waitress asked if I'd like a refill on my coffee and she never came back. I regret leaving the tip that I did. Not sure if I'd try Jane's again. I'd say for breakfast, this is an ok spot, for anything else, go to the Barley...

Jane's Place is a delightful spot in Piccadilly Mall. It is a Salmon Arm breakfast favourite with fantastic staff. Even at busy times, our servers have been top notch, this restaurant is luck to have such great employees! The food is also great with decent sized portions and reasonable prices. The Eggs Benny, a couple different varieties, are stellar. Janes is a licensed establishment so you can enjoy a cold beer in the air conditioned comfort. (Maybe not with breakfast though!) Definitely the place to go to get a delicous breakfast/lunch. Our server was phenomenal, she was so kind and made our experience just that much better. The food was amazing. We came by after a long night driving and it was just what we needed. Pricing is also great, and you definitely get more than you expect. I highly reccomend this place to someone that just wants a nice little sit down meal with lovely staff and even better food! I wish I could remember what our servers name was, because her service deserves 5...
