I felt compelled to write a review because of the level of incompetence the employees and management have reached at this location. I went through the drive through to get a gift card and a simple order of food. I paid for the gift card and food at the first window and received my receipt as usual. I arrived at the second window to receive the gift card and the food. The food was handed out but no gift card. I asked for the gift card and with a very confused face, the drive through girl said there was no gift card...so i told her i had paid for a gift card as well so she immediately left the window and came back with who im assuming was her superior. With a very annoyed look on his face he asked if i would like to purchase a gift card, to which i said i did not want to buy a gift card because i had already purchased one. He told me there was no card purchased on my order...i then asked to speak with a manager...the manager then approached the window with a receipt which showed a cancelled transaction not a refund. I told him that i had just purchased the gift card along with a food order at the first window. He then told me that to show him my bank statement to prove that i had been charged for the gift card...enraged at this point i showed him the receipt i received from the first window that showed an approved purchase for a food order and a gift card. Then i asked him to show me a refund receipt for the gift card with the same financial info as the 'approved transaction' debit receipt i provided him with. It was only at this point that he reluctanctly instructed the employee i first spoke to, to ring up a gift card. Being asked to show my personaly banking information to prove a purchase was beyond inappropriate. Many locals tolerate dealing with ncreasingly incompetent and inept employees, and decreasing customer service relations and food quality...but this interaction left me feeling like i was close to being a victim of some kind of scam. Read moreAbsolutely horrible experience and never will we ever go back!!! My husband is a truck driver and went to get a coffee at about 930 pm. As he can't take his truck through the drive thru or park nearby, he parked where he could safely park and walked to the drive thru. As he's done previously at other locations without issue (and for those that actually respect truckers and what they do), he asked for a coffee and stood to the side so that he would not be in the direct lane of the drive thru. Well, he's then told that they can't serve him without a hi vis vest on! The lot is well lit, he's wearing a bright red shirt, but yet they still refuse to serve him...it's their "policy". Honestly, he was probably there longer talking about the absurdity of it all than it would've been to just get him his coffee and go! And the fact that they could clearly see him to talk to him is counterintuitive to their "policy" in the first place. He then called and spoke with someone that claimed to be the manager and was again told it's policy and then rudely hung up on him! If it weren't for the truckers, they wouldn't be able to even function, so the least that could be done is to give them some respect and consideration. They don't have the ease of being able to just pull up and go through a drive thru! And when they have to park a ways away n walk there, how about be considerate enough to just take their order!!! Of course safety has to be involved, but as stated before, he was there talking longer than it likely would've taken to just get him a coffee! Or he could stand off to the side if it was an issue. But to refuse to serve him when he could clearly be seen because he wasn't wearing a hi vis vest is absolutely ridiculous...policy or not!! Be better...do better... We'll never go here again and will tell as many truckers as possible to avoid this...
Read moreTerrible. Waited 30mins to get my food and food was cold! At the 15min mark I asked about the status of my food, I was told they have a lot of burgers to make. There were 10 burgers sitting in the warming area which sat there for a long time. I have no idea why the food was not being packaged fast enough. There was zero customer service when trying to talk to the workers. They had made many mistakes with other orders, and many people were not happy. I wasnt the only one. It was so unorganized, the staff looked like they had no clue on what they were doing. As I was leaving McDonalds a lady who lives in the town stopped me to justify the poor service. If McDonalds has been struggling with service lately then that needs to be addressed within the McDonalds company. Random people should not stop me to excuse McDonalds mistakes. I was not pleased having to wait 30mins. I was traveling and decided to dine in, but after waiting that long I had to get it to go so I could get back on the road. Fast food should be fast. There is no excuses for having to wait 30mins. There was no apology of any kind. I understand McDonalds isn't always on point, but if there is polite customer service it can change the experience. Overall it was awful, the worst McDonalds experience I've had. I dont expect much from McDonalds, a lot of them are young and it is their first job, and a lot is going on. I get it, and I don't want to make their job harder than it is. But this was bad...I laugh at how...
