Tandoor Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Salmon Arm

Went bowling with some friends and Thought we would try it out. We were a table of four who ordered quite a bit of food. The butter chicken sauce was delicious but unfortunately we were served very raw chicken, The eight piece tandoori chicken came to the table and it was so raw it was still bleeding, and rather than removing it from our bill and apologizing they cooked it a second time and charged us twice for it . The one of us who did eat the chicken spent the next 24 hours violently ill with food poisoning. We had ordered three dishes of butter chicken but were served only one order of rice. for appetizers we tried the pekora and vegetable samosas, The flavour was great but the samosas were soggy and saturated in oil. Only one person on her own trying to serve , greet customers and work the bar, it took us 30 minutes to get our first drinks and 45 minutes before she even took our order and there was only one other table seated in the restaurant. Unfortunately our first impression of the place was not very good. Definitely will give them another shot in the future, as I do believe in second chances. Hopefully next time it...

Update: we took a detour to come to this restaurant on our way back from Vancouver for a repeat performance. It was amazing just like the first.

Got hungry on the highway. Stopped on the shoulder to search for food. Got intrigued by an Indian restaurant with a 4.8 rating. Came in. Was launched to culinary 7th heaven.

The meat is marinated, tender and juicy. The sauce is rich and flavorful; every bite is a fireworks explosion of taste on your tongue. Different spices play a symphony of sensations in your mouth, then you swallow, and take another bite for an encore. Finish it with lassi (a yoghurt drink) to quench the embers of spice.

This restaurant is full of trash. Well we went to this restaurant because it was close to our hotel. When we entered the restaurant, it was empty and after 10 minutes it became so busy but we were served at the last. I guess me and husband was only brown people. Other are white so they decided to ignore us and served others. For me it’s ok maybe our order was more complicated then others. After 2 hours of waiting literally 2 hours we waited for those trash food. Even they gave us wrong order .So disappointed. And charged us extra too. Forget to serve us.
