Two weeks later, the guests who attended our wedding are still raving about The Woodshed’s creations. We chose The Woodshed to cater our wedding because we wanted to serve dishes with locally-sourced ingredients that showcased all of the incredible food that Salt Spring has to offer. The Woodshed did not disappoint. From the fruit platters and freshly baked pastries served at breakfast, to the most exquisite charcuterie board we have ever seen, to a reception meal that featured tomatoes and salmon harvested that very day, The Woodshed’s food nourished not just our bellies, but also our souls. We actually watched our friends turn to each other in amazement when Heidee described where many of the ingredients in our reception meal came from. The Woodshed makes eating local, healthy food something that even our fast food-loving guests appreciated (this in itself felt like an accomplishment). Their care and attention to both the food provided and to the overall experience elevated our wedding in a way that will make us smile for years to come. The Woodshed did an incredible job at a wedding I was filming recently.

The food was honestly some of the best I’ve seen at a wedding, every dish looked beautiful and guests couldn’t stop raving about how good everything tasted. It created such a warm, relaxed atmosphere, and people were genuinely excited to sit down and enjoy every course.

The team behind it all was fantastic too. They were organized, friendly, and made serving a big crowd look easy, which makes the whole day run so much smoother for everyone.

We used Woodshed to cater our small wedding and couldn't be happier with how it went! We picked up a charcuterie board during the day and had the rest delivered to us in the evening.
