Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House — Restaurant in Sarnia

My son and I just had what was probably the best brunch food we have ever eaten. Their Corn and Black Bean Benedict was exceptional, the pancakes were fluffy and well-proportioned, and the homefries were cooked to perfection.

Our waitress, Donna, was extremely kind and personable, but she struggled in other ways. It was the little things that started to accumulate that affected the service for us. We waited for 15 minutes for our order to be taken which would not have been a deal breaker had it been the only issue. But when she arrived to take our order, she said she had been notified that we were waiting but had forgotten, which probably isn't the best thing to say to a customer. Once our order was taken however, the food was prepared extremely quickly, so at that point I would have given 4 stars for service.

We did not see Donna again for about 30 minutes so I had to ask another server for more coffee. But the greatest disappointment came at the end of the meal when Donna gave me the wrong bill. She realized this when I pointed it out, but this revealed a level of incompetence that I had never experienced before. It is unfortunate that we will not be returning as the food...

This place is incredible! The kids were so excited to check it out, and it did not disappoint. The staff were super friendly, the service was fast, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. The clean, welcoming, and family-friendly atmosphere made it even better. While the pancakes were delicious, the menu also offered a fantastic variety of other breakfast options. It’s definitely our new favorite spot.

The food and service here were hands down the BEST we’ve experienced in a long time. Our hostess kept us informed about the wait time, our server was incredibly friendly, and the team was attentive, always offering coffee refills or clearing tables promptly. This was our first visit to Stacked, and it definitely won't be our last! The place looks so nice, there are some tables for larger groups and lots of booth seating, some for 4 people and some for 2 people. The booths are also really comfortable and clean. We came just before 9 and it wasn't very busy, our server Kathleen was so kind and attentive. Our food came out so fast! My husband got the Southwest Eggs Benedict with a coffee and I got the B.G.C Avocado Toast and a water, out total was $39.52 (both of our meals were $15.99 each) and I think it was definitely worth it. Our food was delicious and everything was cooked perfectly, including our poached eggs. I think this will be our regular breakfast place...
