Today we ordered butter chicken combo and it was not really butter chicken especially as we expect in the traditional indian way….
While eating we found a glass piece in the chicken curry. We were stunned as it was the first time this is happening. We were chewing the food and we bite into something cracking up and found a glass piece or two. The other pieces we must have swallowed unknowingly.
We called the store and the lady picked up and when we explained the situation, she then asked us if we had finished all the curry or is anything left lol. Why does that even matter?
She did not know how to help or what to say and she did not say sorry and said wait let me get my manager. Instead of the manager, she passes the phone and it turns out its not the manager but another woman.
She showed no remorse or empathy and handled the situation very poorly and spoke rudely over the phone and did not offer any resolution. She then called her manager who turned out to be the biggest villain in disguise. He had an arrogant, grumpy tone right from the start and he wanted to know what type of glass it was rather than being apologetic and offering a solution for our health too. It was clearly mentioned on call that while eating we chewed into glass pieces and we were highly concerned for our health too. Without showing any remorse or regret and with no apology, the owner or Manager or whoever it was started to state how we were cooking up a story as we had a bad day and knowing that we are regulars who give them good business and hight profit margins every other day, he still did not care. He was ignorant to the fact that there was no empathy shown and the customer service was clearly very poor. Instead of providing us with an alternative food item or drink even as any decent restaurant chain would, he bashed us over the phone by reinstating that we are liars and that if we are having a bad day we should take it elsewhere rather than apparently making up a story.
To add to it their solution was more ironical and hilarious as it was more catered to we dont have glassware but only plastics and how we should drive to their restaurant to show them half of the curry with the glass. Ridiculous!!!
Everyone watch out and eat elsewhere!!!
The so called manager and owner as well as the lady who works there, no manners and no respect or empathy for regular customers.

Read moreIf you’re ever passing through Sarnia, Ontario, especially near the US-Canada border, make sure to stop by Hungry Head! I found this gem while traveling from Eastern Ontario to Western Ontario, and it was exactly what I needed after a long drive, especially since it was already 10 PM and my options were limited.
I decided to try their Shahi Paneer, Dry Manchurian, and Garlic Naan, and I have to say, everything was fantastic. The Shahi Paneer was hands down one of the best I’ve had in Canada—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The Dry Manchurian was perfectly spiced, with just the right amount of heat and tang. And the Garlic Naan? Soft, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the dishes.
The portions were generous, and the taste was spot-on. I’m really impressed with the quality of food here, and I can tell they take pride in what they serve. Keep up the great work, Hungry Head—your dedication to quality is evident, and I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a satisfying...
Read moreThey served us mouldy rice and they refused to take it off the bill even though it was inedible. The waitress stated management told her she had to charge us because they argued the rice was fine. The rice however had such a mouldy smell I couldn't eat it. I wanted to give one star for this terrible service but I decided on 2 stars only because the vindalo and naan was very tasty. It's a shame that management would make that call over a bowl of rice that probably cost them a $1 to make. If they had done the right thing and just not charged us we would have become a...
