A&W Canada — Restaurant in Saskatoon

Made the mistake of ordering from this location again because it was convenient and I was really craving a Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and A&W makes a damn good one, when its made properly. This 51st street location in Saskatoon apparently doesn't know how to make one. The chicken in the sandwich has always been in a "spicy tasty sauce", smothered with a decent amount of mayo and a bunch of tasty, perfectly matched pickles or at least the other 40+ I've ordered from the Martinsville locations are. This 51st location, no spicy sauce, maybe a half a teaspoon of mayo and 2 pickles...just another disappointing sandwich from a disappointing location. I sent them a review on their website as well since this location just keeps disappointing. Very last time I order from this location. A chicken burger, poutine a drink and a Steakhouse Buddy Burger for almost $30?, Crazily overpriced. Lady at the drive thru said "Hi" That was it, "Hi, then awkward pause. Asked for a coke, got root-beer, asked for onion ring seasoning on my poutine, didn't get it, asked for a handful of ketchup, got 2 packs and forgot the straw for my drink. This place used to be great, service has declined while price has skyrocketed for no reason. Will be my last visit to this A&W location.

Update The steakhouse buddy burger is terrible. $4.99 for a really Disgusting flavor, and a paper thin patty, my tomato was as thick as the burger.

Go grab a Wendy's, Double stacked-Cheeseburger instead, it is a way better value at $3.69, 2 delicious patties, 3x thicker, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions if ya want em, and that's a free promotion for Wendy's because compared to what I just had, they really are amazing, you're...

We had long work hours this past week. So, we decided to have takeout for supper every night. We had mcdonald's, a&w, dairy Queen and a local restaurant, Robin's Nest at Vanscoy. A&W was the big winner. We had the Mama Burger Combo that was on special for $9.20. The burger was hot, juicy and delicious. We had lots of onion rings and their incomparable Root Beer. It was delicious. I immediately wanted another one. It was so good. Went through the drive thru and the only blight on A&W's report card was the icy and rutted pavement. Went back and had another mama burger the next day, and it was delicious. I've also had the egg and bacon English muffin. It was filling and delicious. Once I ordered it as a combo. I didn't love the square hash brown. It was okay. I tried their new coffee. It was boiling hot, too hot to drink black. I found it a pale imitation of mcdonald's coffee. I wouldn't go back just...

This restaurant is utterly disgusting. It's gross, greasy and moldy. I will not be returning to eat there. The kitchen grill was being held up by plastic totes. This has been this way for a several months now. I asked if the employees had their W.H.M.A.S. , food safety and food handling certifications and was told no. That most employees do not. I felt super uncomfortable when getting my food and sitting in there eating. The employees only spoke English while serving us. And continued in the native language otherwise. Laughing, giggling and goofing off. The food was absolutely disgusting and cold. I will be telling everyone I know not to eat here and will be copying this to my goggle review of this A&W location.
