COBS Bread — Restaurant in Saskatoon

I love this store. First off, the donating of unsold product to the needy is very generous (and helps their business model as a happy coincidence). Secondly, the bread is awesome. Just... top notch. What sets this store apart is the amazing customer service - I am always impressed at the staff's willingness to share their excellent product knowledge with any customer. I don't know who served me yesterday - maybe the manager? - but she sold me on trying a new type of loaf solely with her enthusiasm for it.

I wasn't a huge Cobs fan before, but this store has changed my mind. Just excellence...

I drove many miles to locate this elusive place. The employees did not give sensible directions. I went to the other Stonebridge. After going there twice, I found out later that they were giving away free bread with hot cross buns. None for me. No one asked if I had their App on my phone.

When I read about their free bread others also complained that they were not included. I gave all the HC buns away to my younger relatives. Would have appreciated the bread .

I found Cobs in Lawson heights over a year ago and they are great. The Stonebridge location is not so great. I was just there and although the quality of their baked goods is still great, the service is lacking. I bought two apple danish's and was offered their apple and berry version to which I politely declined and specifically asked for the apple version. I then selected some bread and paid for my items. I am now home and have unpacked my items to find there are two apple and berry danish's in my bag. I will not use...
