Have to say we were impressed! First time visiting this location and decided to try it out after seeing some amazing reviews in a Facebook group on SK restaurants.
First off. The place was immaculate. I mean immaculate. All covid guidelines were in place and we felt quite comfortable there.
We were seated by Veronica who was also our waitress. Very friendly, explained how to view menus on our phones, took our drink orders and said she would be right back. I had the Lumberjack breakfast with white toast, cubed hashbrowns, and sunny side up eggs. My son had the chocolate pancake meal with bacon, cubed hashbrowns and scrambled eggs.
After she took our order, ( very efficiently I might add ), she asked if we needed anything else or had any questions. We didn't as she asked us everything that we might of wanted , like if we wanted onions in our hashbrowns ( I think it was the hashbrowns lol ) and she whisked away with a spring in her step and you could see a smile behind the mask. So pleasant! It's nice to see people still caring about their jobs and being in good mood these days.
I don't think even 10min went by when our food arrived! Excellent portions, nice and hot and looked amazing. đ Veronica offered us condiments. The ketchup, salt, pepper and syrup were already brought out to our table while we were waiting for our food so she checked to see if we needed any kind of jams or peanut butter for my toast and mentioned all of them. All nice single servings of everything.
After digging into our meals, a manager I believe also stopped by to check on us. Offering drink refills or water etc. We were good as our server had also just been by to check on us đ
I can see why there have been such good reviews for this new location and I'm happy we had Veronica as we have heard her name mentioned in countless other reviews online.
Overall our meals were fantastic! I have zero complaints and I can be quite picky at times. Especially with sunny side up eggs. They were perfect. The bacon crisp. Sausage was well done. The ham was cooked perfectly. The cubed hashbrowns were that perfect crispness where you don't have a problem stabbing them with your fork, yet still have a nice crispy texture. Pancakes were fluffy and my butter was just starting to melt on them when they came out. Everything was hot and tasty. We will definitely be back to this location! Not only was our server excellent, the place was so clean and patrons were spread out exactly according to covid rules!
We didn't feel rushed to be on our way and pay, even though she was getting busy. Best experience eating out under these...
Read moreWe recently stayed at the connecting Sandman hotel for a soccer tournament. We organized a team breakfast at this Dennyâs. I would highly recommend you donât waste your time like we did. They are totally unorganized.
We gave them a heads up a few days prior that we would be bringing a large group (approx. 30 people) in for a team breakfast around a specific time on Saturday morning. They told us they wonât take a reservation (even though weâre staying in the hotel) but to just call closer to the day&time to give them a heads up weâre coming. We did multiple times (1 week before, 1 day before, night before, morning of, 1 hour prior) but they were never interested in taking the information seriously. When we showed up, of course there was nothing organized for our team to be seated together. They eventually found an area to put all of us but we had to wait for previous guests to finish eating before that could happen. Things progressively became more disorganized.
They had no system in place to keep orders organized. Of course the boys wanted to sit together and therefore the parents sat together at a different table. Everyone was Changing their spots as more people showed up so things got quite confusing for staff really quickly. No child or parent was connected, the children were ordering whatever they wanted without the parentâs knowledge, and so as you can imagine when it came to receiving our food and paying our bills after it was a total disaster.
People received the wrong meals, coffee was never topped off/refilled, waters were not handed out, ketchup bottles were empty.
The waitresses tried their best with what they were handed. Kudos to them for trying to stay afloat while drowning. I feel really bad for the main waitress who ended that in tears. This is not a complaint on the waitresses. The management needs to get more organized and support their staff. Their staff should never be tossed into a situation like this when there was ample time to prepare and be ahead of it.
In the end, everyone did get their breakfast. The food was pretty good. The bills were eventually sorted out and nothing was over charged or charged incorrectly. But we were certainly there a lot longer than we needed to be and it wasnât really the most...

Went for breakfast Saturday around 10:15am. Seemed to be the end of a rush. Heard they had a 2 for 1 eggs Bennie special, so we tried that....they don't have prime rib, supply issue, so only 3 bennies available....wish someone had mentioned that before we reviewed the menu and decided on prime rib bennie.....Oh, well. The waitress didn't seem in much of a rush, forgot 1 glass of water, had to be asked for coffee refills, and must have left our food sitting before bringing it to us as it was luke warm at best....the hash browns were not crispy at all, as requested. The plate looked...small and really unappealing. The food was bland. The waitress forgot to ask how we liked our eggs done so 1 of mine was almost hard, the other soft yolk. We mentioned the food wasn't warm, she offered to have the hash browns remade ( it was hard to tell what she was mumbling behind her mask) but we didn't have the time to wait for that. Also, who gives you a steak knife for eating a bennie?! And, the waitress poured coffee from 6 to 12 inches above the cup, causing coffee to splash everywhere.... The coffee is NOT fancy enough to warrant this type of pour! The cost was $19, 2 bennies, 1 coffee. Cost was right but I won't be back, The Park Cafe makes an excellent eggs Bennie for a few dollars more and their wait staff is...
