To be honest, I'm not even sure I like the food here, but I still maintain that this particular KFC location is superior to 70% of grandmothers.
If you wish, take a moment to assure yourself that YOUR grandmother is a member of the three-tenths of truly excellent grandmothers of Saskatoon and area. (Indeed, your Nana Gam-gam is supremely delightful.) Even so, I had a very good experience formed from an initially bad one and I wanted to share it with all my closest friends.
Inevitably, human people make mistakes. In those times, only the teams truly committed to customer service are able to demonstrate how they come together and become amazing. Here is a brief story that illustrates this trait:
We ordered food from KFC. We went through the drive through. An item was missing when we got home. We called. They answered the phone. (Can everyone say they got THAT to happen when calling a fast food place?) The person I talked to gave me options on how to best solve the problem. The problem got solved.

Now our chicken is cold and the children are upset. At the store I was met with questions of what is it I was waiting for, explained again but staff didn’t appear to have a clear idea of what would be expected. Tried to give me a salad but I told them I expected hot fries and even after all this standing around debating, chicken. I even had one female staff come over and ask ‘don’t you have microwave’ stating its not their fault its now cold! (Can you even imagine being asked that! ) Although it is because it wouldn’t be cold if the order had been correct. Eventually send home with fries and 3 pieces of chicken. Mistakes can happen but the total disrespect from the employees cannot be ignored. Read moreKFC has really gone down hill, not just this location. I understand with supply costs increasing they would have to compensate to reduce profit loss. I always would buy regularly the Big Crunch sandwich combo. The chicken piece size has reduced to less than half what it was and the taste is no longer as good. The quality has gone down. All for a bit more money than they used to charge for a bigger and better product. I purchased my LAST item from KFC officially yesterday. I tried one last time at a different location than I have tried earlier in the month. Sadly disappointed.
