I want to say to begin that the food items we did receive, were hot and satisfactory. So thank you for an almost good experience! Wow. Used Skip The Dishes. I ordered Three Items for three people. Right before the courier arrived, Mr. Mike's called to say they forgot an item, and Skip the Dishes doesn't re-deliver so if I don't want to pick the food item up, they will reduce it from my bill. Well, since I used Skip The Dishes, that's an indication that I'm not going out to pick up a forgotten food item. So now we're posed with two of us eating and re-ordering from somewhere else for the third person. Twenty seconds after I hung up the phone, Skip The Dishes was at the door demanding full payment. We told them what happened and the courier said he had not heard from the restaurant while growing increasingly angry at the entire situation. Can't really say as I blame him since the courier paid his hard working money to your restaurant for the food I ordered. His choice to handle it was to go back to the restaurant and get the mushrooms. Great, half the problem is served. Nothing is more frustrating than having to eat separate meals after paying good money to order from your restuaruant. Truly disappointing. I called your restaurant and asked to talk to a manager. I spoke to a young lady who said she'd get the kitchen to make a "new" dish for the driver to pick up. I commented that I would hope so as we really enjoy "fresh" food and not a dish that has been sitting there for 30 minutes by now. The manager commented back, "well I think they threw them out anyway." I was pretty distressed after that telephone call, after the entire experience if I'm honest. We received the third order shortly there after. Because we had all shared two meals so we could all eat together, no one ate the third dish. Now, what a waste of money and food. This was such an uncomfortable experience that, Mr. Mike's, you've almost gone from the top of my "goto" list, to my do-not-go-to list. I'm sorry to be so disappointed to post such a...
Read moreI have heard it's such a great place MMM I beg to differ. The fetta chicken I had was greasy. Never seen so much grease on a plate served in a restraunt before. Even the steaks were Blaw, no taste to it. For kids that eat to hear them say my fries have to much salt MMM. When kids complain not a good thing. It's one thing when adults say things. But not kids!! The serves mm to be desired. No utensils had to ask for them. Have to say though! never have I been told after being taken to the table, that's were the rest room is .. I have all ways had to go at some time in a restraunt to the rest room but all ways had to be asking which direction it was. As for the Deco!! Yikes!!!!I guess they gave up on that! expected a fancy place maybe it to look like Denny's or Boston pizza place. Nice clean simple but class clean, bright. Not 70's seating and the pictures on the walls. Yikes! Screwed up on the seats and the lighting might aswell let them come do real graffiti on the the dang walls. And as far as by the staff " Proffessionalism" . Our waitress was okay she seemed a bit embarrassed at times, no utensils on the table. Being she didn't seat us and it wasn't her fault. You get seated, menus, utensils, water, told your waitress will be with and in a min, their name sometimes. But got told were the bathroom was!! Yud! yud! But I think it was the end for some of the staff shifts, in a hurry to go home, didn't get untensils. Wow! okay the staff they kinda well usually pored out the kitchen... Which was weird ...they usually have their own enter and exit to work. Mm straight threw the restraunt. Nothing like in the middle of the your meal and watching the staff come out hoods up back packs on their back felt a bit uncomfortable kinda awkward,. All coming out of the kitchen. Nothing like Proffessionalism !!! People..They need their own entrance/ exit!! The seating not at all looking welcoming or new for that matter. Dark Dungy, kinda like a dark bar or something.!! Would I eatting here...
Read moreThis place has gone downhill. The closing supervisor was even present that night, I saw him, and he did nothing. I stared him down and spoke calmly for us to receive service just to have our drinks refilled, which they failed to do until they gave us the bill to pay. The steak was not worth $51 + tax. The 14 oz is 2 oz + of pure hard gristle throughout the whole thing. Ribeyes are supposed to be melt in your mouth grease. It shows that the cow was stressed and factory farmed, not happy or healthy, and likely not a local farm that was primarily grass fed. For the beef to be aged for weeks as advertised, it doesn't show. It is a stressed rigged texture, not sectioned. Difficult to cut, you gotta really saw at it. I ordered medium, they cooked it medium well, slightly on the edge. As a service cook, it's better to undercook than overcook if you're not sure, unskilled, or not able to be precise. That way, the meat can still be saved, and the time that it sits on the plate, to warmer, to server, to table, it's still cooking. The platter feature was pretty good, and the desert was good. It wasn't busy at all. We were the only ones there and our service was incredibly slow that it interfered with our schedule. They avoided our table like the plague to prevent us from asking for service. I had a membership with them, but when asked to pay, they didn't ask for it, so I failed to receive any points or redeem any points on my account. I would recommend The Keg, Odla, Park Cafe, Manos, Canadian Brewhouse over this. Even Red Lobster is...
