Somewhere Else Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Saskatoon

I would only give 1 star, however, the extra is for the waitress who handled the crowd well and for the food which was fairly good. The lack of stars is for the establishment as this pub & grill was extremely illequiped to provide service for a large group. I am certain they were expecting the crowd as they had entertainment lined up, therefore, 1.5 hours of waiting for pub food is completely unacceptable. I also watched 3 women who were obviously wanting to patron there get turned away because there were no tables. They were trying to become a customer, yet this establishment kept two empty tables on reserve that remained empty the entire duration of my very long meal. I was disappointed for them. Sorry somewhere Else Pub, low rating for a very disappointing...

Can't believe I haven't heard of this place until now (but considering I'm 23 and the average age of customers there was probably 50 maybe there's a reason why.... lol). Went there for wing Wednesday. Amazing deal. Amazing food. Got creamy dill wings and they were perfect in terms of the flavour and amount of sauce. Partner's parents got a poutine and they said the gravy was really good. Partner and I got the nachos and there was so much cheese. The thing I most appreciated was the amount of sour cream and salsa that came with them. Unfortunately my experience with this restaurant’s food and quality was horrible.

Im from out of town, and I’m here for work; staying at a hotel so I thought I’d order in via UberEats. I read some of the reviews before I ordered my Steak Sandwich, and I even called the restaurant to get some details on specific items. They talk a great game, because the food I received was burnt and beyond it being edible. The steak looked like a piece of Black Coal, literally black. I asked for a medium well done steak and got a steak that was not able to be cut with the cutlery provided because it was so over done and hard.

Friendly customer service but horrible food without any type compensation....
