The worst buffet i have been to: Food options : Only 2 appetizers, samosa and papdi chat Curry : goat curry , chicken curry, and one more Roti : no option, naan was served directly Rice: only steamed rice

Food quality: -Everything was covered in plastic and cling wrap and it was going into curries . Insects were roaming around food. Steamed rice was so old that it got hard and dry because of hot warmer

Nan: wasn’t asked when we want roti / nan and was directly put on table which I politely denied as we were on call and haven’t started the appetizers even, the moment we got up to get appetizers same cold nan were served on our table. Fyi those are frozen nans. No options given for roti or nan.

Customer service: was rushed to go for main course because they prepared their Nan without even giving us any time , and make sense as they barely had any options for starters

i was asked how was everything and i said really disappointed, we left in less then 15 min after we had our first bite. But there was not even an apology

Paid full price as its a small business bug highly disappointed. I was just passing by the town, not a resident and choose to go there based on google reviews but now I would like to question the credibility of those reviews. Its nowhere the same as mentioned in those reviews. It’s weekend noon and people go out to have good food with different varieties but unfortunately this is not the place where you want to go.

Restaurant business is all about good food and good customer service and they lack at both.

Swadesh is one of our go to restaurant if we crave for Indian food. I Have tried a lot of dishes and never been disappointed, been a customer past 2 years. I would recommend tandoori chicken it’s my favourite we order it for every visit or a takeout. We have tried mallai panner, butter chicken and chicken/lamb madras(really hot dish but I love hot and spicy food), briyani is flavourful too. The servers are really friendly I have been served by a lot of girls and I am very pleased by their service no complaints. This would be a five star review but the last two visits we came across this lady with a scarf near the reception her body language and her tone towards the customers is really not friendly i don’t think she enjoys her job, me and my husband are not difficult customers and I don’t see any reason to be given negative vibes, I don’t think any customer should be treated like they are not welcomed. I hope this doesn’t keep happening because I really love the food here and I don’t want to hate this place just because...
