I went in and made a purchase on the cold beer and wine side. And the customer service was second to none.
the gentleman behind the counter was more than assistants in helping me find what I needed and kindly asked me at the end of the purchase to have a great day, and he said see you again.
That shows a lot and the person who is representing that company. It is number one at the end of the sale for the associate to thank you for your business because number one, that's what pays the staff and brings money into the community and number two the associate asked me to come back. therefore asking me to come back and spend some more money when I have a product that I need. that's called rehashing and When You Rehash a customer they can become a customer for life of your business. It can also be called customer acquisition. And there is a cost to customer acquisition or rehashing.
What you don't want to have in your business is always first time customers if you have a first-time customer eventually you will run out of citizens in this city for customers.
And last but not least just remember that tourism brings in more money than your neighborhood so try and spend some ad dollars on the outskirts of where your community visits Saskatoon such a wakaw, Rosthern, north battlefield etc. I'm just saying this because not everybody knows what Bridges Ale House is or where it is. the owner might think that everyone knows where it is, the associates might think that everybody knows where Bridges is.
but for the average person that's visiting Saskatoon we don't know where Bridges is so send a crew of advertising people go on some doors hand out some cards introduce yourself to any Community because any community over the age of 18 or 19 that is consuming your product is going to need your product eventually when it comes to saskatoon. I will be doctors a customer, Bridges maybe next time now that I know that there's a restaurant there I'll sit down and have a meal with a friend or two. This is general rule on how you restaurant is, going to the washing and if the washing the spleen you know the whole rest of the restaurant is clean that's a little pointer that I used in my restaurants that I had for 17 years. No one likes cleaning them but it's got to be...
Read moreI am a previous regular customer, and employee. Two years ago Bridges was arguably the most comfortable, hospitable bar a patron could walk into on the west side of Saskatoon. Ran from top to bottom by the best manager a bar could ever ask for. Their turnover rate was incredibly low with a highly efficient staff. However, in the past 3 months they have let go of 2 GMs (both of which worked countless hours of unpaid overtime), 1 night manager, and several other loyal staff. The bar is now ran by their hot-headed, impulsive son, who cares little about the serious decline in the establishment and more about getting new toys like a $5000 slurpee machine (for a BAR). You could find better management skills from the people you might find in the parking lot breaking into your car. Working on the other side of the bar I can name more than enough things that would stop you from wanting to ever eat there. But if you agree that the public bathroom plunger can be used as a tool to unclog the sink behind the bar, perhaps this is the place for you. Be Warned: ** "The owners are selfish people, and do not care about there patrons" - 20 year customer ** If you choose to go there only order bottles, because no one refills the dish washer fluid, so all your getting is a glass rinsed with cold water. And you can find cleaner ice in a third world country. ** Almost everything in the basement is rotting, so if you're looking to do a steak night I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere! ** The only thing keeping that bar alive is what's left...
Read moreWent on Friday night, hoping for a repeat of good service and good food. We had an excellent waitress, attentive, courteous, right on top of things. We ordered, it was good and busy so we did expect a bit of a delay in getting our food, and that is ok we were enjoying some nice icy beers. Took about 40 minutes then my pizza arrived, we were told my wife’s order of ribs would be right up, and that is were a good evening stopped. Visually the pizza looked Fantastic, decent amount of toppings, crispy crust, grabbed a slice and it is like warm at best, border line cold, obviously been in the window way too long. I sent the pizza back and asked for it to be removed from our bill, should have waited till her ribs arrived because they were no better. When I sent the pizza back no manager/supervisor even bothered to come to our table to discuss. Just asked for our bill and the. questioned the waitress as I was not the only one complaining about food, I asked her if they were having issues in the kitchen and the look in her eyes told us everything, as she said yes! I had heard good things but now we hunt for another...
