A place as classic as always, with good Québec food and staff that is usually pretty nice and welcoming. It varies in service quality but the food is usually kept at the same quality standard. They also give pretty big amounts of foods and you can have enough for leftovers.

The atmosphere is pretty standard, but usually kept clean enough and the stools are comfortable.

Would recommend eating there for good food without being exceptionally amazing.

The smoked meat was like lunch meat with texture-- truly awful. The frites were good, but needed salt. My son's poutine did not get a fork, and he had made the mistake of ordering it with "smoked meat" and could barely eat any. This is a kid who will have poutine, followed by more poutine etc. I'm sorry, but it was, except for the frites, very, very bad. Plenty of places serve food....

I've never seen a line move so fast. When I arrived, the lineup was almost out the door. But I barely had to wait! And it probably took all of 30 seconds from the time I ordered to me receiving my order (no exaggeration, they really move fast!).

I ordered a large poutine and it was enough for me and my partner to split and be totally full.
