KFC — Restaurant in Sherwood Park

FOOD POISONING!!! Ordered from here 3 days ago, the whole family got sick and is still sick. We can barely stomach anything since then and are in excruciating intestinal pain. I won't mention the other symptoms as everyone knows what they are. It's been a horrible 3 days.

I was already frustrated because we ordered a bucket of dark and a bucket of white (basically, 2 normal buckets, sorted), paid full price and then were charged extra for the specific pieces of white meat on top of it. To make matters worse, different pieces of white meat cost different amounts and, although we were charged for the most expensive pieces, we were informed that we didn't receive them when he handed us our order (no explanation why)... without the offer to refund us our extra charges, even after I asked about it. And our fries were stale which was gross and ridiculous, after waiting in the parking lot for 15 minutes for our food.

We love KFC but I am beyond angry that this happened. This was supposed to be a rare EXPENSIVE treat for our family and instead, we've become uncomfortably familiar with our bathroom floors. We lost an entire weekend, got very little rest and had to deal with terrible abdominal pain.

Pick a different...

Used a coupon and was charged more than listed on the coupon….the person at the till indicated that the coupon was no longer valid, yet the coupon clearly had no expiry, only stated “while supplies last”. I asked to speak to the manager and the man said he “was” the manager. He was very condescending…telling me I had to go to the KFC.ca to get a different coupon. In the end agreed to give me the product, but charged me more than the coupon price. Meanwhile, a customer standing nearby said to me that they did the same thing to him! That was our first and last visit to this location…..will not support a location that has this poor customer service attitude, nor the thought that they do not need to honour coupons that are from KFC. How many times do they do this when I would be 1 of 3 people in the store and 2 of us had this same experience…,

UPDATE: Head office said to email them privately…. Nothing at all was done. Just basically said some locations don’t accept or honor all coupons….wasn’t this what my review/concern was about in the first place???? Customer service & satisfaction? Sorry, but...

I really love KFC and I was having such a craving for it today that I decided to go through drive-thru and buy myself a 10-piece bucket to share with my husband and children unfortunately when I got home which is half an hour away from Sherwood park I found that the chicken was so overcooked and so dry the only way you could eat it was if you poured a huge amount of gravy over top I thought I would call the manager and let them know how disappointed I was in it I wasn't looking for a refund I wasn't looking for anything extra I just want him to know my disappointment and he was rude when he explained to me that it was fresh chicken and that he was assured that it was an I was lying I think this manager needs to take some courses on how to be a manager and they really need to know how to cook the chicken better the service though was actually quite good but I would never buy from these...
