Royal Pizza Sherwood Park — Restaurant in Sherwood Park

In the spirit of improvement, while their pizza is still decent, having gone there couple times a year and may still want to occasionally, their service Is inappropriate and too much in your face. Worth mentioning that expectations are not high but for a place that has been around for a long time, maybe is worth doing better especially with the large number of staff around. Multiple waitresses go round and round asking the same thing. Want a refill? Everything is ok? Do you need anything else? That is the first round right after order is in. Then next round few minutes later, same questions, different individual. Other minutes later, “Do you need a box”? And we are just two slices in. Why would i need a box when i am still eating? And on repeat. Barely finishing the meal, last bite, someone else shows up, blink, plate is gone. Another round as i chew my last bite, “ do you want the bill, should i bring the machine but no rush”. How is it that one should not feel rushed or disturbed or even annoyed?! So far all this, my overall appreciation...

Pizza is always delicious, but tonight after picking up our grandchildren from school, we drove from ardrossan to sherwood park to get some pizza. We placed our order via telephone and we're rold 30 to 35 minutes. We parked, tried to entertain our. 4 and 6 year old grandkids.after 25ish minutes I went in and got the 2 pizzas we ordered. When we placed our order royal we asked 2x that they be sliced in pie shape not squares. Easier for kids to eat. When I got in the car I opened both boxes. One was cut correct and 1 was not. I immediately went back and informed the staff of the issue. They took the pizza and said it would take at least 15 more minutes for another one. I advised my husband and told him and our now our grandkids were getting restless. The staff offered me a drink of water or pop. I sat again for another 17 minutes, so overall took almost an hour with 2 toddlers to get supper. Very disappointed as now the first pizza is cold, and we had to drive back to Ardrossan before we could eat....this was supposed to be a quick...

Called in an order at 5:50 on May 20 I was told it would take 30 to 40 minutes. I did arrive early, 6:10 and expected to wait 20 minutes. I paid and was waiting. At 6:20 I was told it would be 45 minutes plus. When I questioned this I was directed to the manager. No real explanation was offered, I suspect my order was not passed to the kitchen, and no solution was offered, like "we can have this delivered at no charge" or anything. Why is offering quality service so hard? Why can't we make an offer to help fix the situation? I like the food at Royal, but I will rethink finding another place that really wants my business.

Add on: I was contacted by Royal Pizza and they apologized for what happened. I was very appreciative of this and wanted it put out there that they made a solid effort. Thank...
