Update 2023: My Reward Breakfast Sandwich had something crunchy in it. Tims confirmed they've been using fresh eggs for quite a while so it was likely a piece of egg shell as it couldn't be the "soft cooked" bacon.
The coffee I ordered without sugar had sugar in it. Unfortunately I didn't try it until I got home which of course was too late to return/exchange it. This makes it the FIFTH time they have added sugar to my coffee.
I ordered an iced coffee intending to pay for it using my $1.00 survey reward. However the server used my "Roll Up To Win Prize" instead. I told her I didn't want that as this was the last day of the Roll Up To Win contest and I had wanted to try one more Roll. She said she couldn't change the order but she somehow cancelled it because I ended up paying for the coffee, using/losing my reward as well as the points I should have gotten for the card I scanned. I went back to this Tim Hortons a few days ago. The coffee still tasted burnt/bitter but the service was quick and accurate. My server was courteous and helpful. Thanks Veena you made the bitter coffee go down easier.
The coffee at the Tim Hortons (Baseline & Cloverbar Road) has a burnt taste to it. It used to taste much better. Corporate office said not all Tim Hortons use the same coffee (owners choice). That could be why the coffee tastes better at some locations and tastes burnt at others. Service is very slow. They forgot to take my money once (server walked away so I had to wait until she returned and ask if she wanted the money and she laughed and took it). They forgot about my order another time and I had to remind them. Some of them arenāt aware of or know how to process rewards from their app. When I spoke to the manager about the rewards she said they weren't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs a regular patron of this Tim Hortons, I've sadly witnessed a consistent decline in both the quality of their food presentation and the demeanor of their staff. To put it bluntly, visiting this establishment often feels like stumbling into a chaotic kindergarten craft project.
Firstly, let's address the food presentation. Whether it's a hastily thrown together sandwich or a sloppily arranged pastry, the dishes consistently resemble something a five-year-old might proudly present to their parents, complete with uneven spreads, mismatched toppings, and haphazard assembly. It's not just about aesthetics either; the lack of care in preparation often translates to a disappointing taste experience.
Furthermore, the conduct of the staff leaves much to be desired. Rude and rushed seem to be the default attitudes, as if they're doing customers a favor by merely tolerating their presence. This attitude is especially troubling when coupled with the frequency of wrong orders. It's baffling how often simple requests are misunderstood or blatantly ignored, leading to frustration and inconvenience for patrons.
Adding insult to injury, I've had the unfortunate experience of receiving items with expired ingredients, most notably expired cream. This lack of attention to food safety standards is not just disappointing but also concerning for the health and well-being of customers.
In conclusion, the overall experience at this Tim Hortons location is nothing short of appalling. From the amateurish presentation of food to the rude and rushed service, coupled with the frequency of incorrect orders and even expired ingredients, it's clear that significant improvements are needed to bring this establishment up to par with even the most basic expectations of quality and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDone with this location. Most of the drive thru staff are just as rude and uncaring as the manager that is on duty that I just had the DISPLEASURE of trying to talk to.
Don't get me wrong, some of them are great, but most of them do not pay attention to what you're saying, they talk over you when you're trying to place your order, or aren't attentive enough to give you everything you ordered.
I called the manager about this, and WOW was that an eye opener. She spoke OVERTOP of me 7-8 different times, after already asking me to re-explain myself once because "She is very busy and cannot hear me". I asked her to move somewhere where she could hear me, and she said I had her undivided attention after.
However, she would not let me get my words out. She just simply kept uttering over me. "I understand. How can I make this better?" I told her I wanted to come back for the rest of my order this evening, and she asked me my name 3 times, and what time I would be there. I answered her, but also commented that she didn't let me finish my question, but again, she didn't seem bothered to stop talking. She kept interrupting me over the phone to 'sympathize' with my story and then asked me my name and what time AGAIN, so I blatantly told her that I gave her that information already and she should know the answer if she was truly listening. She replied with "I am sorry, I have a lot going on around me and I did not hear you".... well, SO MUCH FOR YOUR UNDIVIDED ATTENTION! UNACCEPTABLE.
I will never return here. I have tried so many times, but now I understand why the staff aren't well-trained. It comes from the top down. The manager is a key ingredient in the chaos, and I have no clue how she got that role....
