I ordered two pizzas on Jan. 4, 2024 at 2:52pm for pick up at 5pm. When I got to Papa Murphys before 5pm the server told me my pizzas were not done and apologized. When I enquired when they would be done the server said something to me which I could not understand. I asked again two more time and on the last time I asked I finally understood my pizzas would be done right away. When the server bought out my two pizzas, one was not correct and had to be re-done, I didn't check the other pizza. Once the one pizza was corrected I thanked the server and went home. When I unwrapped the other pizza, the one I didn't check at Papa Murphys, it to was incorrect. I had paid for three extra toppings which I didn't receive. I phoned Papa Murphys Sherwood Park right away and got the same server, I explained to her the reason for my call and she apologized again. She offered a refund but I suggested a coupon instead which she could send to me via email. When she asked for my email address and I started to say it to her she for some reason couldn't get it right. I said it to her four times and each time she would get parts or all of my email wrong. Finally out of frustration, she hung up on me.
I also sent a complaint to this store through their customer service page but so far I have not heard anything back from them. Please note; There was a significant language barriere with the server at Papa Murphys Sherwood Park both when I picked up my pizzas and when I phoned to complain regarding the second pizza. It should be also noted that this location was sold (not sure when) but since the sale of this location, the inside of the restaurant and service has continued to go down hill. The pizzas have remained the same but this has to do with it being a franchise. On a final note; I will be ordering from...
Read moreI would give negative stars if I could. Walked in at 4:05 in the afternoon on Wednesday February the 14 and was basically told if I didn’t order ahead of time that they had no time to place a order and would be at least a half hour… there was one other person in the whole store and I felt like I was told to eff off. I don’t think it’s hard to make a take and bake pizza first of all and they didn’t even know what we wanted or were going to order. Will never be back and I hope that they go out of business if that’s the way they treat potential customers.
Update after owner reply: I totally get there can be wait times and that is not the issue it was the dismissive attitude of the rude employee that made my short visit so very unpleasant. The fact that Valentine’s Day is your busiest day should mean you should have more people working if your employees can not handle the “rush” at 4:00 in the afternoon. Also the fact that they didn’t even attempt to take a order before they so rudely dismissed me meant even if I was willing to wait (which you expect for fresh food) how many more online orders are going to flow in while I stand there not being helped? So No I will not be giving another chance and I hope no other customer is ever treated like I was on this day. If I treated my customers that way I would be out a job as...
Read moreI've come to this specific location multiple times over the years, and I've never had this much of an issue at any location. This location either just recently switched ownership twice within the last few months or the employees were lying about this being their first day. All three of them struggled with the debit machine (which is fair, technology sucks) instead of one of them fixing up my order. I had ordered a pan pizza, which is more expensive than a normal one, only to find out when I'm being handed my order that they didn't have any pans, so they just used the pan dough and made a normal pizza. They were reluctant to give me a refund when I refused to be ripped off, they tried multiple times to convince me that it was exact same pizza (I used to work at a Papa Murphy's so I know exactly what the difference is), then they tried to just refund me the difference between a pan pizza and the normal pizza they made, then they tried to get me to just order a different pizza. It wasn't until they ran out of options did they finally agree to refund me. And once again they couldn't machine to work, so one of them just grabbed cash from their own money to give me a refund.
I can look past the debit machine issues, but purposely trying to rip me off is unacceptable.
I will definitely never return to...
