We've come here a few times now, usually for breakfast, and it's usually quite good. The atmosphere and service are always good. Today we came for lunch and the food left me very disappointed. I ordered the Perfect Prime Rib Sandwich for $15.99, that the menu indicates is a Fave item. It's described as "House roasted, melt in your mouth tender slices of Canadian Prime Rib, with 2 slices of Canadian Cheddar and wasabi horseradish aioli; piled high on a ciabatta bun with crispy onion tangles and au jus". That sounds delicious, and the accompanying photo on the menu looks delicious too! What I got, however, was a ciabatta bun with some melted cheese and soggy onions, and there was so little beef that you could barely find it in the cheese and onion goop. I expressed my disappointment to the waitress. She offered to have them make another one but I refused. I didn't think it would make any difference, as I'm sure the cooks have a proportioned directive to follow. Besides, I've heard enough stories about cooks spitting in food, etc that I dare not chance sending food back. We'll probably go here again for breakfast, but I don't think we'll ever order any lunch or dinner menu items again if that's the kind of food we get...

I'd ordered the chicken schnitzel oscar meal. The chicken was dry on the inside, but the coating itself was quite greasy. The mashed potatoes were thick like a paste, and I'd heard the woman behind me ask for hers to be warmed since they came out cold. The seafood sauce was thick and tasteless. It was a meal I'd never order again. My friend ordered the grilled cheese, and hers turned out great. I hadn't eaten at this location in years, and now I remember why.
