The Vault Eatery & Pub — Restaurant in Smiths Falls

Amazing food and fantastic service. We had Robyn as our server and she was extremely pleasant. She had great menu recommendations and a great sense of humour.

We started with the charcuterie and cheese which had local ingredients. The quality really showed in the flavour (the duck was amazing). We also had the baked trout filet and red ale braised brisket. I cannot express how delicious and fresh they where. Each came with a side of fresh vegetables. The potatoes wedges there are also amazing. They had these slices in them that made them crispy but also soft! I wish I could make wedges like that at home!

At the end of the meal we felt like we ate real hearty food. There was nothing fried or frozen. It was such a refreshing expierence to be served local food.

It is always wonderful to see new restaurants in Smiths Falls; especially restaurants that are not “pizza” specific. I also enjoy a nice plated meal and great atmosphere and this place fits the bill. Gregg & I tried The Vault Eatery & Pub this evening and we were not disappointed. The service was wonderful, the atmosphere was charming and the food was soo good, I totally did the “Winnie the Pooh Dinner Dance”. We had the Caesar Salad to start (real cheese & bacon), Red Ale Brisket with Mashed Potatoes & Mixed Veggies and to finish it off… a wonderful Caramel Carrot Cheese Cake (ooohhh yes lol). My husband and I have been twice now, both times were great! The owner Amy greets you at the door with a friendly hello! Nachos to start, both times. (Chefs kiss) Their daily pasta selections are so good I asked for a spatula to make sure I got all the sauce when packing my doggie bag! Tonight, I had their burger with wedge potatoes, AmAzing is all I can say… Service has been great both times. My husband can be a little picky with certain things, they offered a sample of beer before ordering and removed the mushrooms from the ‘special’ and added a cream sauce.
