A&W Canada — Restaurant in South Huron

Have gone to many A&Ws across both Canada & the U.S.A.All I have rated Very good to Excellent.Exeter is the exception to the rule.First the counter help have both a very rude attitude & a lack of knowledge pertaining to their product & How to prepare it.Let me be so bold as to explain my negative comments.First we order 2 burger combos & 1 chicken strip combo.We received 2 Chicken strip combos & 1 Burger combo.So we politely asked if they might replace the chicken combo that was incorrectly given for a 2nd burger combo as requested.By the way at this point 30 minutes had elapsed.The second burger combo arrived.One of the burger combos was to be Without mustard.We sat down to eat.First my daughter said the chicken was cold!So we went back they replaced that.By this time 45 minutes had expired.I went to eat my burger now naturally stone cold.To my amazement it was minus a burger though.At this point we were a little upset.I went back up to the counter a 3rd time,& spoke to the manager.He of course apologized & offered to replace the whole order.At this point it was becoming clear that we weren't going to get our order filled properly.We left what was left on the counter.As we were leaving.The manager still trying to satisfy myself & my family offered a full refund & replacement of the food as we were leaving.I told him that was ok,we'll go elsewhere & left.My advice if you are wishing to partake in a FAST meal,bypass this A&Ws every trip past Exeter.Ontario.1...

Not to happy with the terrible story I heard from my 2nd step uncle once removed…. Apparently while he was there with his mother who mentally suffers from dementia (she’s also in her late 70s early 80s) they went the other day for coffee he brings her now since the lady who use to just stopped just because she wanted to be rude and not honestly say that she just didn’t want to because of how her illness has advanced (his moms illness that is) anyways when they finished they couldn’t find her gift card which she put 100 on it just a couple weeks ago so there’s about 70-75 on it possibly more. When they asked the ppl at the counter all the young guy said was do you want a new card Ester? Which obviously she doesn’t want to as she just bought the one she has…. I don’t understand why you didn’t Offer To talk with the manager about watching the tape just so she knows what happened to it., and that she’s not still blaming her self for “losing” it…. I really hope they didn’t take it ….. like that would be just worse then just criminal it would be HEARTLESS especially so close...

BAD! Stay away from this place especially at night. I went about 8 months ago and it was great. Went on Monday December 19th around 7:35 pm and it was the worst fast food experience we've ever had. We love going for A and W's onion rings cause of their spice and there was none on them. Also the oil tasted so old it was like they drained it out of a dumpster out back that has been sitting for a few months. My whole truck stunk of old oil. We took a couple bits and that's all we could manage. Our stomachs were a mess after. The Motza burger I order was a mess to. Bun was mushy and old somehow. The meat was ok but that was about it. We also ordered chicken sandwiches and the old oil just ruined it.

All in all a absolute terrible experience and will never go back. Oh ya this meal cost $42, so hope I can help people save their money as this place has clearly gone by the way side. Take care everyone and any fast food in Exeter is hit or miss but...
