KFC — Restaurant in South Huron

Store closes at 9pm , arrived at 8:30pm and was refused service due to " NO Chicken ". There were 2 other couples behind me. When we all left disappointed as usual at this location , the staff started cleaning. Noticed the kitchen staff left early. So they had Chicken 🐔 🤔 but refused to start a new batch ?!?. Never coming again to this location, as everyone I talk with agrees this restaurant is a disaster and forewarned me not to go. I should've listened. Update: July/2025 thought I’d give this restaurant 1 more chance , seeing all the bad reviews maybe they would up their standards. Friendly staff, but the quality of food NOT good. On line order placed for 11 AM pickup, no record of the order, "will need 5 minutes to prepare your order" 15 minutes later, "just 5 more minutes". 20 minutes after I walked in the door finally get my order, everything, fries, chicken and popcorn chicken all luke warm at best and the spicy option that was ordered was not, wrong order filled. I am a 1 minute drive from this KFC, no excuse for anything being cold, but it was, 30 sec in microwave I was good to go. I will not be gracing this or any other KFC with my business again, far too many options out there to tolerate what I experienced in service and product. The service and quality has definitely gone down hill since new owners/management took over. First thing to set me off was when I went to pay with cash and the look and rude noise I got doing so was not warranted. Even if I did pay with a card, there was debit receipts all over the counter. That’s a simple thing to tidy up. If you aren’t doing that, I can only imagine what else you aren’t cleaning.

The hours state 9pm close. Customers should be able to open your doors at 850. Granted maybe limited food selection—but still open.

There is no greeting when you arrive, and the staff do not seem at all pleasant. Definitely wish there were more options in Exeter as selections for variety...
