If only there was an option to rate this subway in negative, I would have rated -10. So, on August 30th 2024 around 6 pm in the evening, I went to get subways for myself with my husband and baby. After I ordered my sub, I asked if they had something for kids in the menu and Kevin who was making my sub said that they have a snackwich, so I ordered one, but he came back outside saying that all there sandwiches are frozen and apologised, I didnāt realise anything as such and didnāt make an issue out of it, but there was a nice lady behind me who initiated and asked him if they could do something in place, well he declined and then she spoked to the manager who said that she was helpless and cannot do anything. The lady re-iterated that it is poor customer service and left the restaurant with her order. There a boy who was wearing glasses, but did not have a name tag had something that went wrong in his head and developed some kind of attitude for no reason. Well, he did not started making my sub until I asked for it after waiting for 10 minutes there, he was loud as if he was yelling whenever he replied to me, he had some kind of issue in his head and on his face that literally made me feel disgusted being in that restaurant. I wonder why would they have frozen sandwiches when subway is supposed to serve fresh and why would they have such people working who cannot make a customer feel welcomed. This incident was a turn off for the rest of my day and i would like everybody else to be aware of this particular person before...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIncredibly poor experience. Sandwich was good. Two friends and I were travelling through Exeter on the way home after a busy weekend working. It was still a 2 hour drive home. We had decided to stop at Subway as a healthier option with an OPEN dining room where we could sit down.
When we received our subs we went to sit down. The woman behind the counter told us the dining room was closed. I proceeded to check dining room hours on the door. The sign on the door (as per my pictures) said it was open. This was even listed as temporary hours!
It was 6:50pm on a Sunday. In all honesty i think most people would consider this is within regular dinner hours.
When I informed her she simply said she would change it and did not accomodate us at all. So we had to eat outside in the rain.
I can understand if these hours were a sticker that's not easily changed but this was a paper print out taped to the door which is easily changed. Even just crossing it out and marking it with the new...

I'd been here a few times before this incident, and was not impressed by the customer service, but it wasn't the end of the world so long as they made my sub right. As I pulled up, the female employee turned off the lights. I double checked the hours on the sign outside, and yes, they were open until 10, so I walked inside anyways. The employee turned the lights back on, and asked me if I was doing a big order, to which I responded no, I'm only getting a single sub. She made my sub, but basically told me that she turned off the lights because she didn't want to do multiple subs just before closing... WHAT??? I'm sorry, but if you're employed to work until ten, whether you like it or not, you work until ten. This was the last straw for me, and I haven't been back to this Subway location since.
