McDonald's — Restaurant in Springwater

AVOID AVOID AVOID.

This place is horrific. It’s way too tiny for the amount of people coming through, flys EVERYWHERE. Food on the floor, chairs are torn up…the cashier was very nice and the staff is moving FRANTICALLY and it’s so unorganized. Every McDonald’s I’ve been in has an area to order and an area to pickup. This one had orders literally piling up in front of the cash register. Think when Starbucks has 15-20 drinks at the pickup counter but none of them have names, yea… this isn’t even the worst part…I went to go to the washroom and when I opened the door it was like someone kicked over a portapotty. It was so bad that there were flys ON THE TOILET. Do you know how long the bathroom has to be ignored for flys to collect on the toilet? And the smell? HORRIFIC. I honestly wish I was the exaggerating type but it was HANDS DOWN the worst bathroom I’ve ever seen. Now onto the next issue, the cherry on top. I leave and I HAVE to read the reviews and notice a lot of people saying it’s expensive which is confusing because pricing is usually pretty standard. Not here. the combos are $1-$4 more than other McDonald’s. For example, Elmvale location has a $15 Quarter lb meal and other locations are $12.49. The BLT meal is a whopping $17 while other...

Over the past 5 years or so I have randomly stopped in at this location while passing thru Elmvale. I am not from this area.

It is the most consistently disappointing location I've ever been to. Each time I secretly hope to see some type of improvement but there is none.

From your open sign not being on to the consistent long waits for the simplest orders.

Bathroom and dining room are always disgusting. Muffins look like they've been sitting there for weeks. Flies flying everywhere. Just overall it is a poorly run McDonald's location.

Staff doesn't acknowledge you whatsoever and continues conversations behind the counter as if people are not angrily waiting for their order.

And then when you do get your order 99.9% of the time it is incorrect.

Overall the location just shows that nobody cares. From the top management to the bottom.

I don't like to post negative reviews but nothing seems to change at this location.

Hopefully next time will be a little bit...

IF YOU ONLY READ THIS FAR, DO NOT EAT HERE. Actually the worst McDonalds I've ever been too. The only consistant thing about this location is that you will be consistantly disappointed in the food, and/or the service. The "fun" part is seeing just how things will go wrong this time. Orders are nearly always either: missing entire items, have standard items not made correctly, have special orders not made to order (even when allergies have been mentioned), or constantly substitute ingredients (many chicken patties) without notifying the customer that they will not be receiving what they ordered. In addition, they routinely leave their outside lights off at night leading to the rear and side of the building (where 90% of customer parking is located and the drive thru) in darkness.
