Wow I have literally never visited a Tim Hortons that closes whenever they want randomly . They say they are short staffed ? Do kids not want to work anymore especially when it’s 16$ an hour that’s nuts . I guess they can’t be off their phones that long because it seems they can’t keep staff and it’s effecting thr tim hortons name and i cant see how the owner of that store is ok with closing at 4pm in both dining and Drive through and its not just Saturday and Sunday ive seen it randomly on like a Tuesday or Thursday, I’ve seen Timmy’s in smaller towns than Elmvale stay open until 10 at least in the drive through. God even at the height of the pandemic the Newmarket store on Yonge by the old glenway cinema was even open until 6pm drive through. What a lazy generation of kids and their parents must buy them everything because they aren’t working and ive seen tons of them at the highschool flood in there on break or lunch but they can’t keep a staff. I remember as a kid I had to have two interviews to get a job at Mc Donald’s now they are probably hiring on the spot and I only made 6.85$ an hour compared to 16 and they still won’t work. Its crazy how the Mc Donald’s is always open and has no shortage of staff. This Timmy’s has to smarten up before McDonalds steals all their profit and it even tastes better. The people that have served me at the elmvale Timmy’s when it’s open has always been nice and talk full so I don’t get any of thr bad experiences with staff that a lot of folks have reported, like I said they are very kind a chatty for the my most part it’s just closing at random times and customers not knowing this in advance. If they want to lost their business to competition but update it on google … I see they updated about a week ago about the weekend early dining room closing hours but they are lying and saying the drive through is open until 10 pm but is not right I just literally came from there and it was 4.15pm i saw workers in there cleaning and waiting for rides and the drive through was blocked off by a car lol how pathetic please update that you close whenever you want and to never expect us to be open. Your owner must not care about making money because he’s not open long enough to make a big profit after paying for all the necessary drinks and food , rent and pay the employees… I pray for a change...
Read moreStopped by the drive-through and the individual who cashed me out barely interacted with me. They didn't make eye contact, greet me, or tell me my total, just thrust the debit machine in my direction, then handed me beverages with drips all over them. When I asked for some napkins to clean the cups up, they paused and stared at me blankly, before saying "there's some in the bag" (with the wraps). Then sighed, like it was a huge hassle "but I guess I could give you some more". No smile, didn't notice or care that the cups were dripping and sloppy, very little acknowledging me at all through the whole interaction.
We can't expect a Starbucks experience at Tim Hortons, but they could at least smile and say hi, never mind care about the customer experience. Simple niceties don't take much time or energy and can make a...
Read moreI am regular to Tim’s. At almost every other Tim’s I have experienced a wonderful service, atmosphere and loving staff, until today, I stopped by at this Tim Hortons with my family. The staff is very rude including THE MANAGER on shift. The staff asks you whole bunch of questions what why how if you ask them for sleeve, or creamers on side. Even a cup of tap water to lower down hot coffee temp. But she is like no , whats the reason, oh i need to charge you. Manager wants to charge me for hot water. Seriously charge you? I am Not asking for another cup of coffee which has grinds in bottom. Never mind, I am not going to this Tims ever again. If you are expecting good service then go...
