Buster's Pizza & Donair — Restaurant in St. Albert

Since the worker had no understanding of grade 7 Math (surface area of a circle), I was given much less pizza than what I paid for.

I ordered online for an event I am volunteering at. Since the option was there, I ordered 4 XL Pizzas (18", at an average of 30$ each). I prepaid online. I did not get an error message at any point.

A few minutes later, I receive a call, stating that they do not make the XL at this time of day, but not to worry, they would give me two Mediums (12") in lieu of each XL.

I tried to explain to the person on the phone that if they give me two M in lieu of each XL (a total of 8 M instead of 4 XL), I would still not receive the right amount of pizza for the money I paid.

The person on the phone kept telling me that I was getting a deal because each M is on average 19$, so two mediums is on average 38$, where the XL is on average 30$ each, so I was getting a deal of 8$ for each two M.

I tried explaining again about surface area, having done the quick calculations on my phone, but they would not listen. They kept going back to the "deal" I was getting.

Surface area of an XL is 254.34 in2. Surface area of a M is 113,04 in2. Therefore, four XL pizzas is 1 017, 36 in2, and eight M pizzas is 904,32 in2. The difference between those is 113,03 in2. That is the size of a full M pizza.

I essentially paid of 9 M pizzas, but Busters would only give me 8, adamant that I was "getting a deal".

Please, Busters, employ people with basic Math skills. Or fix your online ordering service. Thank you.

Back again, tried 2 more types of pizza. The Meatsa satified the meat lovers while I thoroughly enjoyed my Sizzlin' Chicken Ranch. Again the food was fantastic!!

The place was very clean and neat . Jay was super, food was great. His son is polite and smiling. It's a family run place which makes it even more special.

I hadn't been and was craving a doniar when I noticed this place. The gentleman (Jay,) behind the counter was so polite and friendly. He answered all my questions without ever seeming to be bothered by them.

I had the beef donair, which was loaded with donair meat, and my fixings were exactly as I requested. I then ordered a chicken pizza to take home for my kids. My first choice of chicken pizza isn't available at this location. The man apologized and explained why. He made a few suggestions of what I might like to try. It was devoured short order once I had it home.

We really like that we have a choice of sauces and we don't have to have the tomato-based pizza sauce. The donair and pizza were both quite reasonably priced. The donair was wrapped in easy to use wrappings and I didn't have a single drip or drop. The pizza box was sturdy enough that even when I put my phone and book on top it didn't sag in the middle.

We will definitely be visiting...
