Been there many times, food was always great and service was the same. Now the last time I was there about a week ago was another issue, I ordered mine to take with me and while I was waiting a middle aged couple walked in and ordered and they were asked if it was for take out or dine in? They said dine in, and here's the issue! They were then asked for their QR proof of vaccinations in which they both had but had NO I.d to prove who they were, the lady at the till then told them as per the bylaw they could not then dine in (which was correct) but for some reason she went and asked the manager if it would be ok for them to dine in and he said yes! Not Cool!!! so all the other customers were then eating with people who were possibly not vacinated. Absolute garbage manager, I asked for 2 simple kids meals (4 California rolls, 3 avocado, 3 cucumber), my kid has a gluten allergy so I asked to skip the California rolls (not gluten free) and just replace with cucumber or avocado. She absolutely refused even after I told her they had accommodated before, she kept telling me to buy them separately. After almost 10 minutes of trying to reason with this person I ended up accepting the inedible California rolls… when the food arrived I saw the infamous rolls contained avocado AND cucumber AND processed crab meat… and she couldn’t just leave the crab meat out of the roll? Good sushi for the value, rice is well seasoned for western taste. Salmon on nigiri is the lean one not the fatty one. Kid loved the chicken ramen kids meal. Rice is a little smashed together which I think is expected for this value? Only real complain is, please never put the super hot ramen in the same bag as the super cold raw sushi. Raw fish cooks very easily, and when that happens it will start stinking, which is undesirable for raw fish!
