The neon glow, a smoky haze, Another night, a blur of days. Behind the bar, a steady hum, Where Ava and Sherri, they overcome. With practiced grace, they weave and slide, Through laughter loud and secrets hide. A tray of beers, a glass of wine, Their rhythm set, precisely timed. Sherri, quick with a knowing glance, Can read a mood, or take a chance On a quiet word, a gentle jest, Putting the weary souls at rest. Her smile, a beacon, warm and bright, Cuts through the darkness of the night. And Ava, with her fiery wit, Could banter back, and never quit. She'd pour a shot with steady hand, And understand each shifting plan. Her laughter rings, a vibrant sound, As stories on the stools abound. They've seen it all, the joy, the dread, The hopeful words, the things unsaid. The lonely hearts, the fleeting cheer, Washed down with every flowing beer. They're more than servers, it is true, Confidantes for me and you. As last call nears, the lights grow dim, They clear the chaos, limb by limb. Their feet may ache, their spirits worn, But kindred souls, they greet the morn. Sherri and Ava, side by side, The unsung heroes of the tide. Mara, with a tray of frothy beer, Carries stories on her fingers, clear. Each nail, a tiny, vibrant, painted crest, An Oilers symbol, truly put to test. The oil drop, bold, on thumbs that tap and pour, The rig, perhaps, on index fingers and more. A tiny orange, a flash of blue, so bright, A silent cheer throughout the hockey night. As glasses clink and laughter fills the air, Her subtle passion's always shining there. For every drink she serves with grace and flair, Her Oilers loyalty, beyond compare.

I visited Brown's Social club with my husband on Oct 31st, 2021. After having our Vaccine passports checked we were seated at the bar as we requested to watch NFL. Our server Mara immediately greeted us and after a few minutes perusing the menu, I ordered an Argentinian Malbec. My husband asked Mara what beers were on tap! She named every beer on tap without hesitation and we were super impressed! The bartender Nam, poured a taster for my husband to try before making a choice. Nam also helped us select our appetizers. The food arrived quickly and it was delicious. We found Nam and Mara to be excellent servers with engaging personalities. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Brown's and will certainly be returning soon.

Fun spot with an enticing menu. Lots of yummy pub fare for everyone including some gluten free options for those that need. Perfectly busy and bustling but a minimal wait for a table. Wait staff is lovely and food came within half an hour. I ordered the loaded nachos with all the dips on the side. They looked scrumptious and were tasty but a bit over done, they were stuck to the paper they were baked on so I ended up eating a little paper lol. Still yummy but more well done than I like. When the say loaded nachos, they mean LOADED so much cheese MMM. All in all a very pleasant experience and I'd go back again to try more of the menu.

Specific to the St. Albert location, and I should have written this sooner, but holy cow hands down my favourite place to go. Read on if you want a complete break down.

Situation - we had a large event planned; a red carpet movie premiere. We needed a place to host an after party and the manager, Clay, and head chef, Brittani, took a genuine interest in helping the vision come to life.

Food - 10/10. We did a variety of appetizers and they did not disappoint. For the amount that was made for the number of people we had, there was no shortage and what was suppose to be warm, was, while what was suppose to be cool and crisp, also was. Brittani is the head chef. She and her team went above and beyond.

Atmosphere - we had the whole front patio. We were able to move some seating around in order to mingle with everyone and even though the group was large, the staff were diligent, meaning there was never a time where anyone felt like they were waiting to order anything.

Professionalism - 10/10 . Every member of the BSH team were kind and respectful. An event that large can be a handful but they performed as though this was a regular occurrence!

Above and Beyond - lastly, my daughter was my plus one and that night was also her birthday. The BSH team surprised her with a dessert and sang happy birthday. It was a very kind thing for them to do which just further shows how they value their guests. Even this past week when I went back, they remembered not just me, but also my name. (Everyone forgets my name regularly!) It's things like this that build genuine connections.

If you've read through this whole review, then what are you waiting for?

To the BSH St Albert team: you are appreciated ♥️ - from the Combined Forces, and Valour in the Presence of the...

Been to many Browns social house locations, and while on the pricey side, I have always enjoyed what I ordered . This St. Albert location was horrible. The portions were pathetic, the food had no flavour, and was not cooked very well. My friend wouldn't even eat it, and she was super disappointed that I chose Browns for our outing. I was hungry though, and even though it wasn't good, I ate the tiny portion of poorly made food that was on our plates before the server ever made it around to ask how it was. I had even cleared the plates from our table and placed them on the one beside us so we wouldn't have to look at it anymore. When the server did finally come around and ask how it was, we told her the truth. She mentioned it to her manager, who came over and was extremely rude, and didnt seem to care that our food was bad, saying that everything is made according to their specs. Well if that's the quality of food you want to serve and you dont want feedback on how bad it was, I guess we'll just have to never return to your establishment. We really should have just brought the food back to the bar or kitchen straight away and maybe the results would have been different. But I still think it would have been a courtesy to remove perhaps one of the dishes from our bill, or offer another way to fix the uncomfortable dissappointed experience we had at this restaurant today. I wouldn't bother eating here, save your money for something better tasting and better quality. The server herself was a nice young lady, and the beer was good and thats about it. I would have given 1 star if not for those 2...
