KFC — Restaurant in St. Albert

I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of acknowledgement whenever I ordered the plant based box meal. My wife went through drive-thru with me and the Indian man on the other side was very difficult to understand. We ordered the plant based box combo which my wife said 3 times to him cuz he'd say something different so she kept correcting him. After whenever we started eating being so hungry i just started eating very quickly but very quickly realized it wasn't vegetarian style. So I went into the restaurant and I tried to tell him my wife said 3 times vegetarian and he had the nerve to say no your wife acknowledged it was meat we ordered very rudely whenever I tried to say maybe theirs malfunctions with the headset or speaker and he very abruptly and rudely said we sell overn $300 a day we never have any issues your the first, may be the first I'm also the last never giving them my time again. This used to be our go to place when we lived in St. Albert and craved fried chicken. It never disappointed. We were vising our son and grandchildren there this weekend so we all went there for supper. Boy were we in for a surprise. The chicken was disgusting. First of all the oil it was cooked in obviously hasn't been changed in years. It was so saturated with fat that you could squeeze a cup of it out of each chicken piece. Secondly there was absolutely no spices of any kind used on the chicken. Not even one of the eleven secret herbs and spices that the Colonel used in his recipe. Thirdly the chicken that was used was electrocuted and wasn't bled properly. The bones were black and and there was blood in all the meat. We ended up throwing it all out. Never again will we be going there. The poor Colonel must be turning over in his grave. This place doesn't even deserve even one star. I would have left zero stars if...

After waiting 9 minutes for someone to actually say hello the woman barely took half our order before rushing off to do another order that was in the drive thru. This was a constant theme for the rest of the visit as the two staff focused and prioritized drive thru orders over their in-store customers. The store was not busy and barely had any more than two other guests. We continued to wait for 10 minutes seeing order after of order in the drive thru be a priority. There was another guest who was behind us and did not even get a welcome until after we had received our food. Over all the customer service was garbage, the store was a mess with a spill that appeared to be ignored infront of the pop dispenser, and as a whole a lack of consideration for all customers. I find it offensive that they would prioritize a drive thru over in-store order and portray a preference...
