Wok House — Restaurant in St. Albert

This is the only Chinese place in St. Albert that offers combos for however many people with your choice of select entree’s. The entree selection is quite extensive. We ordered the combo for two and were pleasantly delighted by the flavour. As a Vietnamese person, the spring rolls were pretty authentic. The price is average for your typical Chinese restaurant. I appreciated that you could get Wonton Soup as a choice of appetizer in the combination package. I typically have to order it separately at other Chinese establishments. My family and I have loved this place for a while. Great food. We just ordered it off skip the dishes last night and ate it, then my whole family started feeling sick, like food poisoning type sick; including myself. I cut the sweet and sour pork open today to see and it is RAW. I'm a little startled, so we called them and she was nice about it and they even seemed shocked. So she apologized and gave me a discount for my next order. It was probably just a little screw up on their part, as we've never really had other problems with them. First time here and the first table we picked was beside a window where cobwebs had been a very long time, we stayed but not too impressed with the cleanliness. Not totally related but the,fish tank is also very dirty and I’m surprised the fish are actually surviving this contributes to the cleanliness of the surroundings. Onion cakes had very little flavour as did the won ton soup. The lemon chicken and ginger beef were really good along with the chicken fried rice, the portions were a good size.
