This evening my sister and I decided to go for dinner and thought Earls might be an enjoyable place to eat. Our night proceeded like so... We walked into the restaurant and were seated in a booth, there were 6 tables filled with people around us. We needed some time to look over the menu, ordered a drink and the server left us to decide on our meal. Upon ordering our meals, I asked what the difference was between the avocado and quinoa power bowl and the vegan avocado quinoa power bowl, out of curiosity. The server (whose name was Adam, and I feel it appropriate that I state his name), said rudely "the vegan bowl is just gross". Now if I actually had been vegan id have been pretty offended, seeing as I'm not vegan I was still taken back at the tone and choice of words used by Adam. As we finished ordering our food, we chit chatted and waited for our meals, not once did the server come back to ask us how we were doing or if we needed anything, or to apologize for the long wait. In that time a lady, who I believe was the manager, came up to us and asked if everything was okay, could she tell by my arms being crossed and our looking around the restaurant for a half hour waiting that something might be wrong? By the time we actually got our food, the 6 tables around us had been fully cleared, a large table by the front entrance was seated (a good amount of time after we had been seated) with people who had already ordered and received their food and eaten about half of their meal. We received our meal and expressed to the waiter that it sure took a long time. His response was a sarcastic and rude "it's busy". We had spoken to the manager a second time when we finished our meal (which my power bowl had a hair in that I chose not to mention), still not feeling great about the way we were treated, then being told that our server has been talked to about his attitude before. The evening concluded with the manager comping my fries and sisters drink (which we appreciate, thank you) and two customers who were still very upset and unimpressed when leaving the restaurant. You go to a restaurant expecting to have great service and to be respected by the server the same way that we, the customer, would respect you. Very disappointed. If someone needs to be spoken to multiple times about their "attitude" when working or about their service, maybe they shouldn't be working there. Will most likely not be going back to Earls, at least for a good...

We've been here 3 times now and it's been flip flop.
First time we went there for bunch. The service was very slow our server was talking to laughing and talking to friends when we're and other customers are waiting to put our order in. We both ordered the Super avocado eggs benedict medium and soft, both orders the eggs were rock hard might as well be hard boiled. We sent it back and assumed the so called chef was just having an off day. Order came back the same, over cooked eggs. I sent mine back again and they FINALLY got the order right. We both left dissatisfied and disappointed. Paid for both orders but whatever. Our server sounded very annoyed when we sent our meals back.
Second time, they nailed everything perfectly the server was great and friendly, food was fast even tho it was busy. Everything tasted delicious. 5/5 No complaints. Perfect brunch.
Third time...thinking it would be the same as the second. Guess not at all. We go there for bunch again not knowing it would be our last time going to Earls. We order the Super Avocado Eggs Benedict with Ham. Both orders eggs were over cooked and the potatoes were rocked hard. We sent ours back once again hoping they could get it right again. Our server was great (I'm sorry I forgot your name) but she said she'd talk to the cooks and get it fixed. Got our order they still didn't get the eggs right. Over cook all the way through, the potatoes were still hard and they forgot the ham. At this point I was done. Our server was very apologetic but we understand it's not her fault she's doing her best. She comps me my meal and my wife didn't mind paying for hers cause it wasn't as bad as mine.
Update: We lied, we decided to give it another shot for patio drinks and a quick lunch. We got seated fast around 3pm. I got the Bacon Cheese Burger, fries and side of gravy. I would skip on the gravy, has a deep maybe underlying burnt taste to it. My wife go Kung pow Chicken with 4 chilies, it was great and 4 chilies was perfect amount of heat (we both like things spicy). Overall the meal was great, and the service was excellent. They did surprise us at the end by compensating our meal for what we believe we're previous issues in the past.
Patio is always a great spot to go been there a couple times in the past for drinks and enjoying the sun. If you're looking for a good patio place, definitely...
Read moreI am torn to write a review or not, but decided to.... we attended the restaurant this evening (April 6,2018), and was met with less than satisfactory service. Our waitress was good- however the food was repulsive for the most part. My partner ordered a starter clam chowder, which he thoroughly enjoyed (yay!) but when the mains came it was a different story. His burger was pink in the middle. I ordered the crispy chicken tenders and Alfredo penne; the chicken was certainly not “crispy”, rather soggy and pink inside; the Alfredo penne was bland. I could have dealt with soggy and bland, but pink- nope. We advised our waitress of the undercooked meat (she noted it was disgusting). The young female manager came over and assured us she had shown the sous chef our concerns but “it’s been cooked to spec”. Offered to refire the meal, towhich I replied no, as at this point I was repulsed. I asked for the bill as I was wanting to leave. The manager came back, and again “wanted to ensure us the food wasn’t undercooked, and didn’t want us to leave worried we would get sick”. The manager also wanted me to talk to the sous chef and chef (why would I talk to them when you’ve already said they claimed it’s fine? I am not going to waste more of my time in your establishment) I’m sorry, but the managers insistence was not reassuring. She said since we didn’t eat the meal there would be no charge. I appreciate not being charged for our drinks, or the soup. However, when there is blatant pink in hamburger and pink plus red vein in the chicken...I am fairly certain it isn’t cooked to spec. Regardless, if a customer has legitimate concerns perhaps acknowledg them and try it to make them feel like a moron. Not too happy sitting here at home with a stomach ache and vomiting. Again, I am happy to not have been charged and I acknowledge some people will eat beef that’s pink, however the pink chicken is inexcusable. I just wish I would have taken pictures. Edit: the drinks consisted of an iced tea and a coke. Nothing fancy, no booze. We were just looking for a nice dinner out. Doubtful we will be back as this was the last...
