Iāve going to Cheezatar since they first opened in Sonny creek about 6 years ago. This branch is big and clean, but the service is terrible! The workers are friendly and nice but very disorganized and slow.
The food always takes forever to be ready. Today, they made half of my order in the oven, put it aside, and made the other half! By the time I got the food (30 mins) the first half was already cold!!! My order was only 4 manakeesh which is not a big order and the restaurant was not busy!
Also, my Sujuk wrap was not good, in addition to it being cold it did t have the usual veggies and sauce! Iām not sure if they have a new guy in the kitchen but the staff works there very slow like they donāt care. I saw a lady that waited a 50 mins for 2 items, to only receive one order, the. Finally she asked for a refund as she needed to leave! They didnāt even offer her to take the order that was ready for the inconvenience they caused! Terrible customer service.
Itās disappointing the food always takes 30-60 mins and most of the customers complain because if it! Iām shocked the management isnāt doing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI popped in because the place looked very polished from the parking lot. It was in the afternoon and I had some work to do. They have lots of booths and what looks like a wood oven pizza. Once inside I could also see there large assortment of pastries. They looked amazing, fresh and a great variety to choose from. I was also able to same some at the counter.
I ordered a flat bread pizza with Steak, Mushrooms & Onions and it was truly melt In your mouth good! I was able to get some work done. Everyone who walked in had the same reaction. I wasnāt up to any pastries today but Iāll be back for those another day! I would have had a glass of wine but they donāt serve alcohol. Iām not sure if thatās because they just opened or if thatās going to be their plan moving forward.
Either way, Iāll be back! I hope the word gets out because this place deserves to be in town and we deserve to have them. The prices are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs a middle eastern guy, I have high standards for middle eastern food. This place really nailed it. Really really fresh and zingy food, made truly to order (which admittedly means a little bit of a wait to get your food but it's worth it!!). We tried the tablouleh which was served crispy, zesty and extremely fresh. Super bright and delicious. We had a variety of sandwiches from the falafel to the chicken to the beef, all good very strong reviews from our group. The manakeesh is made in a lovely modern rotating brick oven and was very tasty. We topped it off with a few pastries for the road which were also fresh and light, very nicely balanced. They're new so they're working out a few operational things but just be zen about it and support these folks: St Catherine's is super lucky to have such an incredibly tasty new option for middle eastern fare. We'll be regulars...
